I sprinted for Bull like usual, got there first to find it being down. Things didn't look to promising (like we will find out later). I decided I ran that fast so I'm getting on something first, so I jumped on GD for a GREAT ride. I really lost my stomach on that ride. While on the tower I saw that Deja was testing so I went down there.
Right when I got into line it broke down after the first public train of the day. I waited 5 minutes and it was back up. Waited another 10 and was in row 2A when I heard the recording of: "Due to current weather conditions this ride may close soon." They sent our train anyway and boy did we go slow through the cobra roll. After we got off the train it shut down for awhile.
We then went on AE:R and enjoyed minimal trim brakes. The only time we got trimmed was before the final helix which I have NO problem with. I loved flying through the barrell helix.
It was now 11 and I had to meet someone at 1130 by IW so we went to ride that. When I was next in line the train overshot the station because the train was wet and the wheels definatly didn't stop the train in time. Does anyone know of those wheels in the station are the only things that stop IW? But anyways after about 10/15 minutes of staring at the ride all the ride ops just latched the restraints and sent out the train. I did like seeing the emergancy brakes work though, that was cool.
Then I met up with my friends and we walked around for awhile, took another ride on IW and then it started raining. We just basically walked around looking for something that was open. We saw trailblazer running so decided to walk over there. We passed Viper which did not have a sign up so we figured we might as well go in there. The line was just basically a very congested station. This is probably the part of my day that pissed me off the most. While sitting in the Viper station for 45 minutes they did not tell us once what was wrong with it. I was assuming that it was just the weather but I couldn't be sure since when it re-opened it was still raining. But anyways after all that I stilled ended up with a great ride in 4:2.
We decided to get lunch at Burger King. It was yummy.

So it was just me and my friend. About halfway back we saw Raging Bull drop. We went nuts because it's what we wanted to ride all day. For some reason I really wanted to go on this coaster today. We joined the line (before it was open of course) at 1:25 right by the Longhorn Layup. The two guys working there were very nice and actually let me shoot for fun when I didn't even ask them. Well we were waiting awhile and we got the: "This ride isn't open yet and won't open for a long time" speech that all the greeters give before a ride opens. Well we were waiting still and we were getting pretty far up in the line when one of my friends and 3 of his friends (one being SfgamDemon) came up to us. They joined us in what was now a very small line for Bull. After a good 45 minutes me and 3 other people went and did Giant Drop. Then the two girls went off for a good hour and a half doing random rides. We stayed at Bull because that's where we told them we would be and well, I really wanted to ride it.
After many, many, many restart beeps from the station and lots of time getting to know the Raging Bull ops that were coming and going from the sation, not to mention my near hour on the test chair I was starting to doubt that the ride would open today at all. I never knew how many people ask greeter's how long a wait will be when the ride is down. It was definatly annoying for me, and I just had to listen. About 5 or 6 times when the greeter was talking to someone else I just answered for her. "I have no idea when this will open, but if it does it will be awhile." While Bull was actually testing it looked to me that the brakes were very sticky on the third hill. The train was going mightly slow around the track. Well it was eyeing up on 430, passed the 3 hour mark. I decided that I wanted a ride on Demon. Me and 3 other guys went while the 2 girls saved our spot (which really wasn't a spot anymore, we were the only ones in line) in line. As we walked into Demon's station, Raging Bull starts up it's lift. I took off running and got back there while there was already a line backed up to the Longhorn Layup. Luckily the greeter decided it was OK for me to get back into my spot since I had only left for 5 minutes and was sitting there forever. After about 15 minutes of testing we got the phone call. There was a big roar and my group of 6 went wild. I didn't check what exact time it opened, but it was around 4:45 I think. After a good 3 hour wait I was the first in the station and sat in my favorite spot on Raging Bull: Red train 9:3. After that FANASTIC ride and many dances afterwards we hit giant drop again with the girls that were next to us while Raging Bull was testing.
WOW...that part was a long one eh?
Went to AE after all that and raced my friends who obviously weren't paying attention to the trains go up the helix while waiting for Raging Bull because red wasn't trimming at all. Needless to say, I won the race.

Decided Bull's wait was too long (30ish minutes...3.5 hours...30ish minutes...3.5 hours, I have something wrong with me) so we turned around a walked on Demon. I saw Brad in the front row and said Hi but I don't think he knew who I was.

After that I bought my season parking pass and left the park. I left at 8:00 and didn't see one cop on my way home. I expected crowds to be much bigger than they were today, I had a great time this Memorial Day.
If anyone saw me I was wearing my "The Boss" shirt with some jean shorts.
