I think its a little more important for maintenance to get the new rides running before that.

Actually if you have seen the boats from Logger's Run, they look almost brand new.

I don't care about Logger's. The longer it's closed, the longer I can ride Ice Mountain. :)

I don't know if the Loggers Run boats are new but the last time I saw them they looked like they have been since the park opened in '76.

Doesnt surprise me Logger was open as it's entrance can now be used for, well, it's entrance which is the reason I believe it was closed in the first place.
Too bad Clippers closed, my favorite water ride in the park good thing I went on it so much when I did :).

How come Ice Mountain is closed so much? Personally I always liked the old Yankee Clipper the best because you didn't get totally soaked, but it was enough to cool you off.

I assume (not a proven fact) that it's because the term "Logger" is more used among guests and it has the picture.

It'd be nice if they would actually run both during the summer when lines for water rides can be worse than the coasters...
Top 5 wood-5-Goliath 4-Ravine Flyer II 3-Phoenix 2-Voyage 1-El Toro
Top 5 Steel- 5-Velocicoaster 4- Maverick 3- Fury 325 2-Steel Vengeance 1-X2

Good question. This ride is usually never open unless the park is really busy. I say staff it up and keep it open all year and change the stoopid "Ice Mountain Splash" back to the more traditional "Yankee Clipper".

If I ever see IMS open when I go I will definetly ride it because that is the only ride(the ones I haven't riddin are for the wee ones and those I can't ride, well except SSR which I have riddin.) I haven't riddin in the park.

I think Yankee Clipper definetly sounds better than Ice Mountain Splash, also Yankee Clipper fits it's theme better.
This is where I would usually put stuff. Can't think of anything right now... =/

It's good to hear Loggers is running. I know since last season the park was rebuilding the turntable in the loading station. I agree Ice Mountain Splash should also run however let's face it it hardly ever does in the past years. Loggers Run get's you wetter and is by far more popular at the park. I think our park will follow Paramount's Great America's lead and take out Ice Mountain Splash. We need the space and boy does it take up the space. I see a B@M Floorless in that spot in the future or how about the rumored possible new Wooden Coaster? time will tell maybe everything can stay I'd like it that way. Hey I have an idea Let's get rid of that waste of space that is our. big lawn ornament .

FYI: IMS was open on Weekends during the bsy season. I suspect the same thing will happen this year. Weekends Only Operation.

If they every take out IMS then they would have to rename another water ride IMS. I personal think it would have been better if they renamed Splash Water Falls to Ice Mountain Splash.

I think they renamed Clipper over other ones cause really no one cares about it (even though it's my favorite water ride in the park), SplashWater Falls is a popular ride.

Yeah it is definitly the lest popular water ride in the park. It is good on days when it isn't to warm out though because you don't get that wet, but on hot days you don't get wet enough so pick your poison. I think this is how the water rides are in popularity.
1. Splash Waterfalls
2 Roaring Rapids
3. Logger's Run
4. Ice Mountain/Clipper
