The train stops in the block brake track which slides out and attatches to the transfer track, the train slides on the transfer track, then the track goes back into position.

When we rode Superman on Saturday, we rode in the back and we did the Superman pose the whole time, man was that hard to do, if case your wondering the pose is to hold a fist and then extend your arm out, see the logo for the ride for a better view. Try that sometime and then do the on ride photo, it is cool and that is the one I bought this last weekend.

Yeah, I know but he said it was getting back to normal which isn't really true because normally 30 minutes would be a short wait for S:UF. I never said anything about the time and the day iot was irrelevant for what I was stating.

Anyways, I think its attracting less crowds, but its becomng a better ride because its rougher.

When I rode it, I noticed it was making wierd noises in the station and taking longer to dispatch. Right before the pretzel loop you get knocked around a bit, too.

I think the reason S:uf is losing crowds is because its poorly themed, its not new, and its a design flaw. People like flying coasters like stealth or X flight because they do crazy and intense acrobatic maneuvers. People like B&M flyers because they make it feel like your flying. The only problem with superman is that its layout would be good if you had something interesting to look at, or if you were flying by stuff.

Anyways, thats why i think its losing crowds. I actually happen to like it better this year because its not as smoothe.

WTF? I think that like 1% of the general public really cares about all that stuff. How can most people compare S:UF to other flying coasters if they don't know that there are many other. I'm not trying to fufill the standard enthusiast steriotype by saying that the GP is stupid, but when it comes down to it-I don't think they care.

I think that S:UF will attract just as many people as last year (maybe not drawing people to the park to specifically ride it) but when people are in the park they wont miss it.

Sorry to revive this topic but I live 25 minutes away, and I still hear a lot of people say "Hey I hear Superman is 'phat' " and a bunch of other good things and a lot of people I know actually are going to the park this season because they never got around to riding it last season. It IS a very popular ride, it IS a great ride, people like it, it remains to have the longest line.
As far as S:UF losing it's appeal, no. After the pretzel people do think its weak, and yes it is weak, and it was also designed to be weak after the pretzel to feel like your flying, and it does. Not to mencin everything would feel weak after the pretzel.

So after everythings all said and done, I don't see the problem here. S:UF's line is still the longest in the park (well maybe Vu rivals, then again Vu gets 600+ less riders per hour), and it remains one of the guest favorites, it's only been operating for a year!

Topic concluded.

Also keep in mind that its still very early in the season. I think the lines will pick up in late June-July...

Ive been to SFGAM 4 times this year and every time superman had the second longest lines in the park one of the days it was 1 hour 45 min wait so i do not understand this topic.
Rode Raging Bull 9 times opening Day, lol to all who were scared of the weather.!.
