Stuck on any rides this year?

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby Iggy ACE on May 19th, 2004, 3:58 pm
This has been a bad year for me already. In St.Louis I got stuck on the Boss for about 15 mins and Screaming Eagle for about 10 Mins.
At Great America I got stuck on Superman for about 45 mins opening day, Deja Vu for about 10 mins and AEB on Mothers Day. And on V2 monday the 17th missed fired and waited about 5 mins to reset. Anybody else having a bad year?
Waiting to fill this space with something stupid to say!

I think last year was my year, I got stuck alllllll the time. I've been having pretty good luck this year though, I havn't gotten stuck and I've only been queueing in one line while a ride broke down.

Uh, I got stuck in Demon's station for about 2 seconds. The train didn't go all the way out. That's really all that happened to me so far.

I got stuck in AEB once a really long time ago on the chainlift (back when it was still forwards). That's the only thing I've ever gotten stuck on.

yea.... last year for me was the worse ever. I had gotten stuck on Demon right when we started to go up the lift hill.... our car like jolted forwards two times and then stopped. Then i had been on V2 like 3 times? when something happened when half the train was outside the station while the other was in it and then these siren things went off. I also got stuck on Viper last year.

Last year I got stuck on:

Demon, Superman (which was by FAR the worst), Viper, V2 a bunch of times, and Raging Bull once.

Not a good year.

I've only gotten stuck on Demon this past Saturday on the brake run after the tunnel...that's it.

I have noticed RB and Superman down more than usual, suprising for a B&M.

I got stuck on Raging Bull at the brakes right before the photos for 25 mins, then they walked us off the ride, Deja Vu in the station, and Viper at the end of the ride for 15 mins.

well I haven't gotten stuck on anything, but I did loose my keys yesterday. I had to go to the head of security just to find someone who would help me and then I sat in the parking lot next to my car for an hour.
I don't have a detonator; its on a timer.
A countdown timer?
No, a count-up timer. It goes from one to explode.

I was stuck on Superman in the block brakes in flying position. It was only about 10 minutes, but your neck starts hurting after a while. It wasn't too bad. Other than that, nothing this year.

Nothing yet this year, I was stuck on Perlious Plunge two years ago, almost got to walk off. :) It would've taken forever with those harnesses. Then stuck on Deja once, floor didn't come up for about 10 minutes. Fun Times at Knotts Berry Farm and the Flags of Six.
Watch out theres a new Hurricane in Gurnee, IL!

Lets see in my past:
S:UF, B:TR, Iron Wolf, Eagle Blue, Eagle Red, Vu, Whizzer, Raging Bull, Lochness Monster, Spaceship Earth, Splash Mountain (cause people were standing up a lot so they stopped it and kicked em out), and probably more that I can't think of now.

Well since I haven't been to SFGAm, I can't say that I have been stuck on any of their rides. I did get stuck once at Adventureland in Iowa on the Tornado, we got down the first hill and then we were climbing the 2nd hill and we had all little kids on the ride and it just stopped. We were stuck for a good 20 minutes. Nothing like being stuck on a coaster and having kids bawling at the top of their lungs since they were scared to death to just be stuck up there, I thought it was hilarious myself. Other than that, never been stuck on another coaster.

I did that last November. When I was at GAm on May 1st, I had this paranoia about losing my keys again, and ended up checking my pocket about every ten minutes to make sure they were still there.

So far this year, I was stuck on S:UF at SFOG in the station when the seats wouldn't fold upward, and the restraints wouldn't re-open. I was stuck on the Skyride at BGT, for 15 min, which really sucked.

In the past I've been stuck on Whizzer's lift for 25 mins, and also on the lifts of Adventure Express and Beast at PKI.
Finally Coaster Season!!

Not once have I gotten stuck on a coaster. When I went this past Sunday, I was on Superman and it was rotating out of the flying position when it stopped for a second, I thought we were actually stuck but we weren't.

Eagle red stopped right before the final turn on 7/7/03. It only stopped for about 3 seconds and was able to make the turn.

Other than that I have NEVER gotten stuck on any ride
