Papas wrote:Whats with you guys and media day? It's not really that big of a deal, and it's not worth discussing about like this considering most of us will not be attending. Kind of like discussing the buyout thats going on right as I type. Anybody gonna make a huge topic about it?

Quite. We don't need that attitude. Read the forum rules Here. Please, if your comments don't add to the conversation, then keep them to yourself. I, for one, have learned more about media day in this topic and I'm sure others who had the same type of questions are wondering too.
Rajun Cajun looks like alot of work needs to have alot of work done on it, however if you look at pictures from a week ago and pictures from now they can accomplish alot in a week
Just saw a little segment of it on CBS 2 and the reporter said she was going to be riding Ragin Cajun a little later in the news cast. So it looks like it has been finished in time.
Yeah channel 2 is actually reporting there now.. so far that's the only channel I've see even mention Great America.. they just showed 2 people who just "stumbled" off of Raging Cajun.. thats my kind of ride
Has anyone watched Channel 2 news.. the newswoman needed someone to go the ride with her so she asked someone in line and his name was Carlo.. is that the Carlo from here? I saw that he said he was going today.
I really want to go to the park but I have no body to go with. Plus, Ragin Cajan won't be open to the public just yet. They still have work to do on it. This morning on the news channel it seemed it only had one train on. The one with the two ladies on it. Hmm.....
Media Day was fun everyone, Ragin' Cajun is a lot more fun than I originally thought it would be. Be sure to have 4 people in your car for weight - and yes, there were only 2 trains running today and yes, it was open to the public... I saw it running until about 12pm when I left.
How was the line? It wasn't finished this morning. LOL, Unexpected opening, I'm very surprised. I thought defiantly tomorrow for opening for the public. Very cool.
King Chaos never opened. Many mechanics were working on it. They moved it big arm around, rotating it all the way around, and began rocking the cars back n forth slightly... It was very slow. No water or any effects were turned on, and when I left all the mechanics were either eating lunch, since it was around 12, or were done with it for the day.
I saw it on WGN. I saw the car with the two ladies on it. LOL Peppy La Pue was suggested deoderant. Also on WGN the did a POV and the 2 people that when on it with him were ACE"ers.
Just to give you guys an updated. King Chaos is not working and don’t expect it to open to the public till next weekend. I was told by Tim Black that that were having problems with it.
Ragin’ Cajun was running 2 trains. 1 with a Camera and another one without. The ride is not nearly ready to open for the public. Basically there are no breaks on the whole rides except for the end. That’s is why they only could let 1 train go at a time, because the Block system is still being setup. Expect it to open in about 2 weeks.
