Yeah, I finally found a flaw with the new paint... it makes Batman run significantly slower! I know last year it was owning me... and this year I felt the hesitation. SFoG's Batman was FLYING this year, I could feel a huge difference. What do you guys think?
I felt the difference on Saturday. Im not sure if it was the cold or the paint though, it was probably a combination of both, but it sure felt like one of the slowest and least forceful rides I ever had on Batman.
Or maybe you guys were just focusing on the new paint that you weren't paying attention. I don't know though I'm just guessing. Batman didn't seem any slower to me.
It's green. It's blue. It's all over you! Enjoy your ride on Déjà Vu
If I keep my eyes open sometimes that happens to me too, I think it's a combination of the forces, and my eyes being forced to look at the sky during the 2nd loop.

The new paint was by no stretch of the brain cells responsible for the 'reduced intensity' of the coaster. It could be the cold weather reducing the friction between the wheel and the track. The same thing happened to Turn of the Century (Demon).
Chiming in a bit late here, but my one ride (plus 3 immediate rerides on the same train) they all seemed up to speed. It's possible one train was running a bit slower than the other.
Though SFOG BTR did spoil us a few weeks ago.

I agree 100% with Papa's the difference between my Opening Day ride and today's ride was like night and day. It had the intensity back this weekend, that I didn't get last week.
