For about the last hour of the preview, the line was no further than the portal. During that hour, I did not wait more than 15 minutes, 10 at the lowest. Great ride! Right side back row is definitely my favorite. The front is nice for the views and sense of speed.
My ride experience was good. You do feel the bumpiness of the outside seats. Not horrible. With that said, I would not be able to marathon the ride. I got 3 laps in today and I’m tapped after that.

I got 3 rides in by 5:40 and I was 1st in line. First 0 minutes, then around 40 I’d say for the others
I'm glad everyone is experiencing the wrath! I need to ride it a lot more but I def think it's going to be a knockout at the park.
I see they were putting grass down or seeding but sadly don't see those arches above the station have been put in. Really really hope they don't just let those sit there in the parking lot please god no.
Now that Rakshasa is officially open, I can talk about the commercial shoot, which I was a part of! I got to ride in each row at least once, but a majority of my rides were in the front and second row. This is the only dive I’ve been on so I can’t compare the beyond vertical drop to anything else, but it’s awesome. In the back, you’re whipped over the drop and it’s great. I thought each inversion was unique with great forces in the valleys. I love the third inversion, which feels like it’s throwing you to the side out of your seat. I was most surprised by the last inversion, which gives you a lot of floater kind of similar to X-Flight’s inline twist. The final helix has a weird jolt in the transition that caught everyone by surprise the first time I rode, it doesn’t hurt, it’s just weird. There’s great speed throughout the ride and there’s no dull moment in my opinion. The front is very smooth, but there is some shaking in the middle and last row, which I feel like has to do with the trains and not the track. I don’t think it ruins the ride at all and to be frank, I think I a lot of people complaining about this B&M rattle on the new dive machines are over exaggerating.
Overall, this is a great addition to our already amazing lineup and I can’t wait to ride again! It’s hard to tell where I’d rank it since it’s brand new, but it’s one of my favorites I’d say

I would have to tend to agree it’s the trains, not the actual track. Anyways, great addition.

For the record it’s not just the Dive Machines…literally every B&M has a rattle…Phoenix Rising at Busch is pretty bad along with Penguin Trek at Sea World. Even Pipeline has the rattle so it’s definitely something going on causing all this. It has to be something with the trains cause I just don’t see how the track manufacturing would change to cause this.
Got back home and have ridden Rakshasa 5 times all from rows 1 and 2, I have a somewhat decent insight on it now. For starters, NO BLACKTOP IN THE LAND! Bye bye blacktop! Can’t say I’ll miss you! Then you enter the queue, the theming in the queue is p good. I’m glad they at least tried to make it presentable. I absolutely love the banners they put in the station. When you enter the station, you notice the new bin system. It’s absolutely great and I hope they keep it for years to come. Then you take a seat and at first I was initially worried they’d ruin the restraints like how they ruined X-Flights but nope, unlike X flight, these restraints do not lock! Finally you start off, the view from the top is fantastic and then the first drop hits. Going to be honest, this was easily the most underwhelming part for me. The first drop doesn’t hit nearly as hard as other dives, instead of a sudden drop release feeling, it feels more like a gradual descent, but then after that, the back to back immelmann and dive loop are great, the inmelmann is your typical dive coaster start but that dive loop feel so quirky and I love it, it almost feels wrongly profiled in the best way possible. Then the twist upwards into the helix is very disorienting, I wear a chain and it never usually comes off but by this point it’s all over my face, which makes it even more dizzying! Then the “demonic knot”, really intense element and you take it at such high speeds, after this is the helix. Honestly? This is my favorite part of the ride, the g forces pulled feels so crazy and that twist in the middle is SO much fun, the you hit the brakes at a crazy fast speed and the catwalk on the brakes is a great foot chopper effect! Overall: WOW! I’m super impressed with what Great America has done, this ride is super intense and fixes the core issue with dive coasters: pacing. This ride is relentless from start to finish and doesn’t give until the very end, and the roughness isn’t that bothering id go as far to say that during the final helix, it adds to the intensity! The best part? The ops are fantastic! I waited in nearly the entire queue on my last ride and still only waited 45 mins! I’d give this a 7.5/10 Above American Eagle and Viper for me in their current states, though I’m not squire sure I’d put it above Batman or bull because of recency bias (and me overall being a huge Batman and bull fan) , so I’ll say #5 in the park. I can see this becoming the new fan favorite among the general public, congrats to the park for pulling this off! They got a winner!
TLDR: Cons: - weak first drop Pros: - Great ops - good theming - restraints don’t lock - roughness ain’t an issue - fantastic pacing - super intense - helix is my favorite element

Some time, on way to successful, first of steps of all of the steps to being successful steps are hardest of all of the steps to successing.
