It's Almost Time

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby btpcheater on April 27th, 2004, 8:13 pm
Hey, Every one. It's almost "party" time at six flags great america. I can not wait, I am going to watch the comerical over and over the night before. Because I know I will not be able to sleep. It's been a while since I have been on a rollercoaster. Ah, I can not wait. I feel that everyone is really surprise about the park this year, hopefully it will be the busiest year for them, They deserve it. They are turning the park around to a great attraction. I can not wait!!!!
It's Party Time..... :)
Watch out theres a new Hurricane in Gurnee, IL!

It's almost time?
Ha!!!

My time came last Saturday. :)

Seriously though, this season is going to rock. The park is kicking ass and taking names.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

Man, if someone had me watch that commercial over and over the night before I'd go nuts. I can't even get through the commercial when it's on TV because it's annoys me so much. But I am excited about opening day, wooooo.

I know! I am very excited!

You guys are very lucky, however to be going this weekend for opening weekend  .

I will not be able to get to SFGAM for the first time this season until Memorial Day Weekend Sunday  . All of the new rides should be open by that point however :D .

Does anyone know how crowds are on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend (or the whole weekend for that matter...)??

Also, I am planning on going four times this season, is the discount season pass price still in effect by Memorial Day???
SFGAM: next trip: Soon!

Damn I wish I still had those awesome crutches I had the first few weeks of the offseason so I could knock everyone over that gets in my way.

If that is true, I will complain MAJORLY about that. That is NOT a valid excuse to get a Exit pass. Disney just really came down hard with their new policy, and its working quite well. The only time you should get an exit pass is if you have a physical impediment to standing in line. And with Disney now as well, what they will make you do if the line is busy, you cannot just enter through the exit, you have to get a fastpass and then return at that time through the exit. I feel SFGAm should do the same thing if it is a very busy summer day.

No, considering I dont have a broken foot anymore.
Also if I broke my foot again I don't think i'd keep on going like I did last season. I didn't get a caste until after the park closed and it was a MAJOR pain in the a** trying to get around and having to re-tape your foot 20x every morning.

2 DAYS! :D
I'll got a good chance of going.
I am gonna have to pay the $41.99 for a ticket because my dad hasn't got my season pass yet but it is worth it, + I got the money to spend.

EDIT: Just out of curiousity, what is the MVP any day pass?
This is where I would usually put stuff. Can't think of anything right now... =/

the MVP is a ticket that you buy at a discount rate after paying full admission that allows you to come back the next day or any other day that season depending on which MVP ticket you get. I think its $10 for the next day and $15 for any day.
I don't have a detonator; its on a timer.
A countdown timer?
No, a count-up timer. It goes from one to explode.

Is it just me or did that offseason go REALLY fast I mean to me it still feels like it could be November 2nd. November 2nd feels like it was just yesterday. It could have gone A LOT faster but I went pretty darn fast for me at least.

But I have a feeling tommorow is gonna go so sloooooow though. But whatever I cant wait till Sat and Sun even if it is raining.
