There is more that hasn't been revealed about the ride area. They are still working on theming the area. We could very well see an awesome logo for the ride and those tiger eyes have to return. A lot of people will also want to know what a Rakshasa is, so they got to tell us.

DEMON SNACKS ISN’T GOING ANYWHERE The park president confirmed this during the announcement!
Somehow I don't believe that considering a few things. It has an inversion over and a helix practically on top of the midway in front of it. On top of that, it's not in any of the renderings. When the president answered this he said "Snack Shop" as in one, he didn't say plural meaning both in the area. The answer was purposely ambiguous.
We also don't know if that game building is safe. I'd say it probably is but it shouldn't because it'll leave a pretty narrow path between it and X-Flight.
"I've been told that some part of every wish will be heard but lately I lost sight of the truth in those words."
My layout may not be entirely accurate. That was only my second attempt and I was like "good enough" lol. John reiterated outside the press conference that specifically Demon Snacks is staying (in some capacity).

I was thinking the same thing. Logo feels too similar to Goliath with the font. Incorporating the eyes would be cool, albeit a little similar to SoB. But it would be better than just words.

Well, CF loves to use eyes for dark creatures so I was totally expecting that here too, especially with the teasers. But a sign like Goliaths or even Roar at SFAm would be pretty awesome.
Side note, thanks to Galvan, I was able to change my username. RIP gottastrata33. Just wanted to grow from a name I chose at 15 years old seeing I am now 35 So now my instagram/socials all match to this site.
I hope somebody has eyes or a camera on Clermont Steel Fabricators in Ohio soon. Do you think the plant would have already started fabricating track and supports for Rakshasa?
On my YouTube channel, I have a recreation completed of the layout. The plan is to model and recreate that area of the park. I am not sure how far I will actually get, but I do have a POV on my channel using NoLimits 2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=avdrbT62sRo

I figure they're going to pour concrete over that small river where the drop is, that sucks I always thought it was pretty cute, never got to take photos of it. That being said, it would be cool for everyone to take as many photos of the area as possible right now for some sick before and after shots
Some time, on way to successful, first of steps of all of the steps to being successful steps are hardest of all of the steps to successing.

In the animation the creek is still there on the side of lobster and the side of the kiddie rides. It looks like some of the supports will be in caissons in the water itself. So hopefully it isn’t going anywhere!
I will be covering construction progress whenever I can through the fall and winter. Went ti the park today took the drone up and it looks like the games that were on the midway right by h the are path that leads to Justice league has been torn down. I haven’t really had a chance to go over all footage but this is what it looks like. You can see the truck and the excavator working right by where that building used to be.
I will be posting construction videos to my YouTube page: Chicago Coaster Guy
Today’s video footage should be up tomorrow at the latest. Here’s a snapshot of today’s work.

I honestly find that really hilarious. I NEVER play the carnival games at parks, not even when I went to CP, but on my previous visit, I finally tried out a game. Wouldn't ya know that it was the goblet toss they had there that got removed. What a coincidence! With goblet toss being my favorite, I hope they at least relocate it. There are at least 6 empty carnival game slots I can think of off the top of my head. Two in Mardi Gras, four in County Fair.

No problem!
I also checked out to e front entrance to see if any work was being done since the park has been closed and it doesn’t appear that anything has progressed. I did speak with the park president on Monday and I completely forgot to ask him about it.
I checked the employee lot to see if anything had been delivered yet and it doesn’t look like it.
I may be taking a trip next week and if so I may decide to swing by Clermont Steek Fabricators to see what I can find. Stay Tuned!

It's totally unbelievable that front entrance isn't done yet!
Single Day Ride Count Record
50 rides 8/17/2018 (Without Flash Pass - Coasters After Dark)
I think they are more concerned with getting the Rak site cleared and ready for construction as soon as possible than getting the front entrance structure done. Besides there are not too many operating days left in the 2024 season. Save the front entrance for next season. Focus on getting the site ready for when B&M track and supports start arriving.
I just stayed up for that Six Flags Mexico announcement that ended up being a Fright Fest announcement. Exactly what so many were worried about here actually happened for those in Mexico. Horrible. lol
Anyways - I think the entrance project was always a 2025 plan. Hence why it started so late & they're now building more skeletal structures for what will HOPEFULLY be a legit front gate.

Six Flags Mexico is having issues with the local government. They moved the coaster location to a parking lot after receiving alot of pushback about cutting down trees. Now the government is complaining about traffic in the area. I wouldn't be surprised if they have to move the project to another park.
I saw some info about the entrance project on the Coasterforce forums.
"Outside of Wrath of Rakshasa, I heard a bit about the front gate that is being worked on. The large entrance structure that is being built right now will soon be where the security checkpoint will be. The main entrance plaza will be moved out toward the parking lot as well eventually so that the area right in front of the reflection pond won’t be as small and there will be more room. This also will allow them to expand the Flags gift shop by the front gate and possibly more."
Hey B&MGuy35. Awesome video!!!! I will make sure not to miss one of your construction progress videos for our new B&M Dive Machine, "Wrath of Rakshasa"!!! SFGAm has also been my homepark for my entire life and I have ridden Valravn at Cedar Point in 2018, but not any other dive machine since then. I couldn't be more excited that we are getting our very own B&M Dive Machine coaster and the biggest mini dive of them all!!!!
I have liked and subscribed to your channel and hit the bell. --------------------- The area looks like a small plot of land. I have a hard time imagining how this massive dive machine will fit here!!!! Also, it looks like some of the trees by the drop and first inversion will have to be removed. Only time will tell if they need to remove some trees, root systems and all.
I'll be keeping an eye out for your next progress video on our new Dive Machine!!! Over and out. T

I knew about the backslash but thought that all subsided. I just legit messaged someone the other day that this makes me feel they're gonna send the coaster to another park which is why they made such an awesome promo video for DCeased. We will see.
As for the front entrance, imagine we actually get nice new pavers & fountains for the front plaza & reflection pool. I really hope it looks well done cause that entrance building/turnstiles is hideous. I'm excited as I'm loving the look of it so far & love the little flags on top. So I'm hopeful.
Mikey, loved the video. Can't wait to see vertical construction. As mentioned, it's fascinating how little the plot they have to do this on. Just remember this ride when we discuss any future projects that anything is possible to fit in if they want it to.

Yes! They could really make Carousel Plaza look amazing. Let's watch Cedar Fair work their magic
