Maybe its the floorless coaster everyones waiting for. But personaly i think they should put a floorless coaster and whole new teritory and shockwave in the parking lot.
For one it's a google groups site, so you cant be 100%
If it is true I bet it was Bull, considering 1998. They may not have gotten 225 permission so they may have shrunk a few feet.
Things like this happenn all the time.

it was a premier lim launched shuttle. nothing to speculate about.
they probably ment the theming was gonna be forest like. I also agree with sixflagsguy5 they need a new territory its starting to get crowded in that park.
I believe this coaster was going to go where current Camp Cartoon Network area is. If I remember correctly CCN was built in 98'. So that means that they most likely scraped the coaster plan and built a Children’s area instead.
I heard it was susposed to be like Superman at Magic Mountain, but they hadn't gotten all the bugs out of that one yet so they didn't want to build another until they figured out all of the problems. So by the time they got things figured out we got Raging Bull (which in my opinion is a much better option)!
Bleh what a flop, that stupid thing doesnt even run close to 100 and it takes 7 seconds to get there, and even now it's SBNO and it will not be open for a long time (and thats not comin from Screamscape).
That was going to be a Mr. Freeze clone, but with a wilderness theme, but after some local area complaints, but more about the loads and loads of problems they were having with the other 2 Freezes and Chiller at the time, SF gave up the plan and threw together the new kids area in a hurry.

Now at the top of the letter it reads, June 26, 1997. The person may have found this out way before hand and got it confused with Giant Drop. In math i made theory. If it was mistaken for Giant Drop, maybe the original intent was to put it where CCN is. And who every said this has to be by CCN what about the parking lots by IW. The possibilities seem endless. Does anyone know who was supposed to make this "wilderness coaster"?

I'm almost positive it was a Mr. Freeze clone. Mr. Freeze can't be much bigger than CCN right. And it's 217 feet tall. (But if they were going to put Deja Vu and V2 later we would have 3 launch coasters) If Vu counts that is.
