Wait, new ride!?
Here's one for you GreatAmericanFox! It probably won't happen. But I would love to see a family Gravity group coaster like Bobcat at Great Escape replace these water slides lol
DejaVu2001 wrote:Yes. It is definitely running faster. For whatever reason, the 3rd hill trim is not hitting nearly as hard this year. A good way to tell if Bull is running fast is if the final trim before the figure 8 comes on. If the ride is running normal speed, those brakes don't hit. Usually they only hit on exceptionally hot days, but this year, I've never not seen/heard it trim there.
I've noticed that trim into the figure 8 turn on , every time I've ridden it this year (19 total rides)!
Single Day Ride Count Record
50 rides 8/17/2018 (Without Flash Pass - Coasters After Dark)

Agreed. Now that we’ve got Hurricane Harbor Rockford, you can tear down the whole water park for all I care. The only slides that are actually good to me there are Tsunami Surge and Tornado. (Anybody else find it lazy that both of those are re-used names? Not even Tsunami Surge, which is record-breaking and not a clone? By clone, I mean another slide that can be found in a Six Flags legacy park, unlike MASSIV at Schlitterbahn.)

Another statement I agree with. It sucks that those Entertainment Village plans didn’t come to fruition. If they did, the water park would have been placed on the other side of the I-94 and the dry park would have lots of room to expand.

This strikes me as funny. In 1999, Great America's go-karts were originally placed in the Dive Bomber / Mega Wedgie / Wipeout plot of land. They were later moved to the Bugs Bunny National Park area in 2012, where they currently reside. If the park won't get rid of the go-karts, then maybe ...
LOL

This is the thing that has finally convinced me that this is more than something for Fright Fest. What is the point to go this big if it is for Fright Fest. Could it be that the sign has info for construction workers that the park does not want park guests to see so they slapped some cheap “this is a mysterious sign” nonsense on top of it to cover the info? Some nonsense that could be removed on and off easily? Really makes you think.

It’s for 2025. The clues point to 2025. And clearly are for the new trademark “Wrath of Rakshaha”. They also don’t typically tease Fright Fest.
The photo isn’t mine. Saw it on a Facebook group. But they have bulldozed Bucky entirely now. That was pretty quickly and all but confirms the 2025 ride will use Bucky space!
I didn't get a photo at the end of the day, but they spent most of their time jack hammering the station platform and breaking it down. The only thing still standing by the end of the day was that same wall seen in the video I posted here.
This might have already been posted, but in case it wasn't, maintenance appears to be putting a red train on the tracks today on Eagle. Ride op say they hope to have it back in business "soon."

Hopefully for Fright Fest.
The latest tears indicate a Dive Coaster. They mention steel and drop now too. And the number 5.
So the red side made a test run today with the dummies in fact. Only one test run though from what I could tell. Also it seems like the original overhead voice for BTR is back or at least close to it.
