If you want to get techical, Batman is a B&M Inverted Coaster. I wouldn't classify Batman as a floorless, since B&M has the Floorless Coaster as a different type of coaster all together, like Scream at SFMM!

It was never called a floorless coaster in any respect. When Batman was first built, it was credited as "the world's first suspended, outside-looping coaster". It was NEVER called floorless.

Floorless coasters weren't around when it was called that. So in a sense back then it was a "floorless" coaster.

OK...I'll be the first one to go back on topic. Even though I like the way the park is now, I think the paths can get very conjested. I have 1 solution for this. Add more stations to the Train. Instead of just having 2, have like 4-6. I looked at the 2004 Map, and I pointed out some spots where some stations can be built.
1-Near Mardi Gras and Orleans place-this way the GP can take the train straight to Mardi Gras instead of going around the tracks..its a shortcut basically. The station will be located over the path near King Chaos.
2-In Picnic Grove-This a shortcut for the GP who want to eat in the grove.
3-By the Demon corkscrew-Since County Fair is a large area of the park. So having 2 stations will take the pressure off the main station in County Fair. Also could be used as a station for SW.
4-Near Southwest Territory-The station can go over the path going into SW, being used as 2nd station.
This is just an idea, so don't be too harsh on me

Yes but the idea is also to see the park. If their are so many stops it would take a long time.

Not necessarily. If there are more stations, that means more trains, which means less time!

How many times have you even been to the park? First of all, theres allready 4 or 5 cars on the rain. Secondly, They hometown station is preactically in mardi gras. That station you said to add next to king chaos would be a 20 foot ride, litterally. Even if you were to put it behind the rapids, it would be a long hike onto the midway. Its totally unnesicary when mardi gras isnt even that far from the park enterence to begin with. They only possible station seems to be southwest territory because its far away from both stations. look at this pic: http://www.angelfire.com/extreme4/sixfl ... entral.jpg
The stations would be too close together. People wouldnt even bother.

Sorry for being a little harsh on you.

It would be nice if you could access the Hometown Station from the Carousel side, that way, it's a little closer to Orleans Place. I also think that unless Six Flags does another expansion, 2 stations is fine.

I was thinking why not build a Universal City Walk type of thing, that when the park closes families can go to high quality resturants owned by others but rented from Six Flags.

I dont see SFI wasting their space in Gurnee to build something like that.

I don't know, I kinda like the idea of having a station in Southwest. it sure seems to me to be a longer trip from County Fair to Hometown than it does Hometown to County Fair. they could turn the tunnel into a station. the only problem would be access there. if there were more room between the bathroom and Ricochet, that might work, but I don't see SFGA moving either of those just to add a station for the train.

what I'd like to see is a retrack of Iron Wolf (can you retrack steels?). not all of it, but just those parts where it really slams you. I like forces as much as the next guy, but I have to literally stick my neck out to enjoy that ride. if you watch the coaster go down the first drop from the stairs, you can see this little area where the train starts to come out of the bank, then go back into it. its really weird and I don't think it causes any uncomfort, but I also doubt something like that was intended to be there.

maybe if we just got brand new trains instead of restraints, some of the headbanging would be resolved.
I don't have a detonator; its on a timer.
A countdown timer?
No, a count-up timer. It goes from one to explode.

I know they got new restraints, I'm saying get whole new trains instead of just new restraints.

I don't really see the need in wasting money for new trains, possiblly refurbishing them in a few years, but there pretty good now.

The only part that bothers me is the transition from the banked turn to where the MCBR should of been. It's a long enough track section that it could easily be re-tracked for a smoother transition.

They should do something about that annoying squeaking when the train gets towards the back of picnic grove and roaring rapids.

That wouldn't really do any good for the train if you think about it. It won't really affect the trains performance very much.

He wasn't talking about performance, he was talking about the squeaking, and WD-40 would help a squeaking.

Ahhh WD-40 and Duct Tape, my two saviors when it comes to fixing things. I mean common, we could reduce the headbanging on Iron Wolf by packing duct tape all around the rails right!?!
