I've noticed around the park that a few of the buildings have been getting some TLC with some much needed paint jobs. Check out these buildings in Hometown Square!
EDIT: Okay see if they work now.

The pics work for me. If there's one good maintenance team at great America, it's the paint crew, they're always getting some good work done (landscaping is a nice group too)

While riding Goliath last weekend I noticed one of the rides in Camp Cartoon has been removed. I believe it is Rocky Road Rescue but don’t quote me on that. Also you cannot click on it on the map that’s on the app as it doesn’t pop up.

1.) Steel Vengeance 2.) Maverick 3.) Goliath (SFGAM) 4.) Top Thrill Dragster 5.) Mystic Timbers Ragin Cajun and Iron Wolf went from Six Flags Great America to Six Flags America. I guess they weren't GREAT anymore.
Maybe Great America will get the Road Runner Railway coaster that was removed for Jersey Devil. It would fit perfectly in that plot of land and they could retheme Camp Cartoon for 2019. Just a thought.

Maybe but then two kiddy coasters are less than twenty feet away lol.

Can someone check Camp Cartoon and confirm Road Rescues removal?

I thought so! Does this increase our chances of a kids area revamp in 2021? Who knows?

Well, it makes sense the app and website would have the same date, they probably use the same database. The question is, is that the real date, and I would say it probably is, seems about right (but there have been years when they change the schedule pretty last minute and add a 'preview' day)

Like I said...
They've added a 'preview weekend', April 10th to 12th...
Update on Eagle: "Eagle is being re-tracked in the helix and right after the helix this year and I think they’re done, they re-paint it every couple years. The ride is land locked right now is they tear it down they can’t build anything there because it’s too close to roads and the highway. The park renewed the lease for eagles trains for I think another 3 years."
They say there isn't a spot in the park where rusting metal or peeling paint is at least 15 feet away from you.
