I've noticed around the park that a few of the buildings have been getting some TLC with some much needed paint jobs. Check out these buildings in Hometown Square!

EDIT: Okay see if they work now.

The pics work for me. If there's one good maintenance team at great America, it's the paint crew, they're always getting some good work done (landscaping is a nice group too)

While riding Goliath last weekend I noticed one of the rides in Camp Cartoon has been removed. I believe it is Rocky Road Rescue but don’t quote me on that. Also you cannot click on it on the map that’s on the app as it doesn’t pop up.Image

1.) Steel Vengeance 2.) Maverick 3.) Goliath (SFGAM) 4.) Top Thrill Dragster 5.) Mystic Timbers
Ragin Cajun and Iron Wolf went from Six Flags Great America to Six Flags America. I guess they weren't GREAT anymore.

Maybe Great America will get the Road Runner Railway coaster that was removed for Jersey Devil. It would fit perfectly in that plot of land and they could retheme Camp Cartoon for 2019. Just a thought.

...that's ideal though. Why venture further than you need to with little ones? That would actually be a nice spot if it's possible for that model.

I thought so! Does this increase our chances of a kids area revamp in 2021? Who knows?

So according to the app the park is reopening on April 25th. Does anyone know if that’s the correct opening date or will it open sooner than that?

Well, it makes sense the app and website would have the same date, they probably use the same database. The question is, is that the real date, and I would say it probably is, seems about right (but there have been years when they change the schedule pretty last minute and add a 'preview' day)

Appeals panel revives class action over Six Flags receipts

https://cookcountyrecord.com/stories/52 ... fy-lawsuit

SF is being sued for the same thing in other states..Georgia & New Jersey. Might be other states I only did too, those popped up quickly on Google.

https://www.classaction.org/news/six-fl ... ceipt-info
https://topclassactions.com/lawsuit-set ... ate-court/

Godiva Chocolate had a similar suit and settled for 6.3M, the payouts are on hold b/c of appeal

Like I said...

They've added a 'preview weekend', April 10th to 12th...

Permit for Andre's/Taphouse remodel.

There was also a permit for the Tsunami Surge foundation, but it was closed out recently.
