I wouldnt mind, Demons normally open in rain.
But thunderstorms would be bad unless we get to stay in Eagles station :).

Light rain all day is good

Heavy rain for about an hour can turn out good

Heavy rain for the whole day is very, very bad. :(

Just so it's warm, I could deal with rain. Heavy rain and thunderstorms from aboutn 7am til noon-2pm would be the best, park would be beyond dead.

Rain before and up til the park opens is best at keeping people away. :)

I disagree with you, I don't like heavy rain at all when i'm there, it just shuts down coasters and you're stuck doing things that arn't that fun, until the rain lets up, then you can ride a coaster.

I check the weather before I go, and hope no rain on the day I go. I am very concerned about rain when I go.

when it rains heavy and most of the rollercoasters are down i just go sit in one of the shows or take a break to eat...i really dont have a problem with rain as long a it lets up and the crowd goes away.

I'm hoping opening day is in the high 40's with a few drizzles. That is the perfect opening day... at least if you want to kick off your coaster season with a lot of 0-5 minute lines!

Is it really that big of an issue?

It rains, it's mother nature. It's not like you're not going to be able to go the other 100+ days their operating this season.

I know opening day is a major thing, but are we all really going to be dissappointed if we can't be at the park opening day becuase they close early due to storms/severe weather?

^I would probably feel disappointed for about an hour, then I'd realize that I am probably going the next day anyways, so it'd be ok.^

I could not agree more. No one can predict the weather more than 5 days in advance. Look at the weather channel the weather forcast changes every 2 seconds

Me too. Also at this time of year no one can really predict what can happen. They said that one Thursday of Friday that it was supposed to storm. Now they say that it is suppost to be sunny.

It's because wind patterns continue to change so the weather that the air creates changes. You really can't get an accurate forecast until 2 or 3 days before in my opinion. Honestly I don't even watch the weather much. If it rains, it rains.
