I was told by someone who saw the gondola on the road arriving at the park, and someone else who has seen it at the park, it is not floorless like the concept art showed, it's a standard off the shelf Top Spin, like you'd see at any other park, though with it being a portable model, so it will have those large water tanks on each side of the ride(just like the artwork showed).
I just hope it's in dry mode on opening day (whenever that is, may be earlier than the date in that one article)
I am pretty sure this is the same top spin that Huss had for sale when they closed their Factory in Bremen Germany, about 3-4 years ago some showman put down the 25% down payment but could never pay the rest once the ride had been fabricated so Huss was stuck with a surplus Top Spin that was just sitting around thier yard in Bremen, but when they sold their factory they really had to get rid of it so they were offering at a extremely reduced price at IAAPA, which is where SF did buy all our new rides, though the rumor was it'd be re-fitted with a floorless gondola. Better luck next time I suppose.
In other news Revolution supposedly looks quite nice.
Luckily I'll be at Worlds Of Fun and Adventureland this coming weekend and after that I'll get a good look at all our new rides on opening day.

Revolution is supposed to be open opening day, pretty sure that was said in that newspaper article a while back, though recently I've heard whispers that one or 2 of the Mardi Gras rides may be ready as well (though definately not the mouse)

I heard somewhere that all of our flats (Except Revolution, I think? And maybe King Chaos) takes from 4-8 hours to set up with 3 men. So thats not that big of a deal. I think its the painting and theming that is taking all the time to do.
