Ok, every time me and my family go to SFGAm, comminucation becomes a problem. So this year I decided to get walkie-talkies(2-way radios) and I want to know how many square miles is SFGAm?

Couldn't tell you for sure, but probably not that many. If your having trouble with the two way radios it's probably because another family is on that same frequency. So try changing the channels a lot if your hearing other poeple.

You should be able to use them with no problem. The park is just over 100 acres. I'm not sure of the conversion rate to square miles but it may be only like, 1 or 1 1/2 square miles.

Square miles would have nothing to do with the range of a walkie-talkie/2 way radio. You need to look at linear distance between the two radios. Most now have a range of at least 2 miles which MORE than covers the distance across the park. You might even be able to talk from the park to someone at wendies if you have good radios.

If you think about it as a circle, the distance from walkie talkie A to walkie talkie B is the radius. Double that and you have the diameter. That's how far walkie talkie B can walk without A having to move.

OMG. To much math in one day. I'm seeing pi signs everywhere.

Oh yeah. it's fun to talk to other people on the walkie talkies. It's funny when they hear you.
It's green. It's blue. It's all over you! Enjoy your ride on Déjà Vu

I have the standard 2 miles walkie talkies and it is possible to pick up signals all the way up to the speedway station, though I don't know where the person was in the park, I could hear their conversation.

I do believe that walking the complete loop of the park is just over 1 mile. You should have no problem with walkie talkies in the park if they have a range of at least one mile (most have a 2 mile range these days)

300 acres is just about 0.50 square miles, according to a quick Internet search.

I think the 300 acres may be the entire amount of land that SF owns, not the size of the actual park. I'm pretty sure I've heard somewhere that the park is 100 acres.
I don't have a detonator; its on a timer.
A countdown timer?
No, a count-up timer. It goes from one to explode.
