The one ride that i am really scared of is Giant Drop.... i just hate the fact of going up so high and then just sitting there and waiting to be dropped....... Even though i don't really like the ride i still go on it....

There aren't any back-up brakes on GD. The regular brakes are fail safe.

My first time on V2 was a little nervous for me. After one ride, it wasn't scary at all.

Most people are scared or nervous on the bigger and faster coasters such as TTD, MF, or RB. To be honest, I'm more afraid of carnival rides that aren't as safe as the bigger rides. More safety precautions and procedures are used on the larger rides, making them extremely safe. I was never scared on TTD, MF, or RB. I'm still very cautious on swinging inverter ships and those types of rides.

Drop Towers used to frighten me. But now they're awesome and relaxing to me.

Unfortunately there's not much that seems to scare me anymore. I guess I get a little nervous still on Giant Drop...and pretty much any tower ride for that matter. Oh yeah, the Skycoaster in the Dells freaked me out...that thing was creepy, hanging up there, having to pull the ripcord. It was fun though!

Giant Drop freaks me out, ttd probibly will, millenium force will, supermn the escape used to, and goliath and x do/will. The only diff is I love getting scared, and if a rides scarrier i usually want to ride it more. It leaves you brethless at the end of the ride.

Thats true though, in my opinion you hear about a lot more deaths on carnival rides than big coasters.

Sorry in advance for the long post.

Do you remember when Deja Vu was waiting for its new train? Well I rode Deja Vu like the 2nd day Deja Vu was open. I wanted to go on because I thought with Deja Vu being closed for a long time. I thought that SFGAm would remove Deja Vu I now learned that that moment wont happen any time soon.) So I was in line and when My friend and I were next to ride. I was scard of going up
Deja Vu's vertical lift.. So I got on and when I was on the lift, I got scard. I was reapeating "OMG". Then when you stop at the top. I got scard and when we dropped I was kind of scard but not that much. When I got off I realized and said "There is nothing to be scard about. I now LOVE Deja Vu and Deja Vu is my friend and my favorite coaster ever.
It's green. It's blue. It's all over you! Enjoy your ride on Déjà Vu

My first ride in 1A going up the second tower I was thinking "wow are we supposed to go up this far?" but that was really the only 'scary' part of that ride.

The only ride that sort of scares me is Giant Drop, though I've been on it over twenty times.

I've always loved coasters and flats but the only ride that scared me and I would not ride was Cajun Cliffhanger. I finally rode it when my buddy went on the Eagle ( he was afraid of it ) and I went on CC.
Waiting to fill this space with something stupid to say!

Deja Vu and V2 still scare me...

deja vu because of how often it would break down

and v2 for reasons that aren't even...valid
haha...I'm just afraid of being in the front row and spinning off of the track on the spiral tower....that sounds soooooooo stupid...but I dunno, it terrifies me.

Regarding how close you get to the top of the spiral on v2, I think it just adds the coolest effect to the ride. I love those little visuals you get while riding rides. Like on S:UF when it looks like your going to slam into a support. Or even on DV in the night in the front row. It's my favorite part of coasters :D

of all the times i rode SUF, i never left like i was going to slam into a support, and the first few times i rode V2 in the front, it freaked me out to spin that high and look like you were going to fly off.

One thing that freaks me out (this sounds really stuipid ) is that one thing that gets you across the park at Indiana Beach. The first time I rode it I didnt know that they stop it in the middle of the ride. And I thought I was stuck. Scary.

I was a little scared to ride DV for the first time, but I was basically too excited to notice much fear. And it was a lot better than I had expected it to be. I thought it was going to be a boring ride, lol.

Oh man, I love the Zipper. I get scared going on that, too. I always think the door is going to open and I'll fall out... But it just makes the ride more fun.
