Well everyone. We have come this far. All the ways from when SFGAmWorld started the "how many days until Six Flags Great America opens for 2004" all the way until now. Who can belive it?

I hope the weather men are wrong about the rain on May 1st
It's green. It's blue. It's all over you! Enjoy your ride on Déjà Vu

Yeah the prediction has already changed from a 30% chance of rain to rain/t-storms. I bet it changes 3 more times before May 1st.

Im all for rain though as long as it comes about mid-day. So the park empties out. :)

I remember when I first found this site, and there were 90 some days until opening day. I'm so excited. And to tell you the truth, I'm hoping for rain...I like rainy days at the park.

I'm kinda not hoping for rain just because the last like 2 weeks of last season (2003) it rained like every single day and I'm kinda hoping that its hot and sunny kinda like today.

But I really dont care Ill go either way lol..

But when it was rainy on Nov. 2nd last season it was one of my best trips ever. I don't mind getting a little wet when all you have is a 10 minute wait for S:UF in the front row. (And I'm not going to lie, i like splashing in the puddles with my friends)

a light rain is a very good thing, in my opinion.
I don't have a detonator; its on a timer.
A countdown timer?
No, a count-up timer. It goes from one to explode.

I remember one day there was an extremely light drizzle on a 55 degree day on June the 3rd of 01.
The park was dead but it was open 10-9 and most rides (EXcept Fun machine, Shockwave, Ice mountain Splash, and Ru Le Dodge.

I rode 46 rides that day @ SFGAm the most i've ever ridden in one day.
Goodbye 11/9!

Lately it seems that the weather men have been wrong with their prediction, as for two weeks from now that is not an accurate prediction at all. Wait a couple days until May 1st then check.

Well I just checked out the weather channal and they said that on Sunday the 18th. There are supposed to be t-storms and a chance of tornados in Madison, Wisconsin, and somewhere in Iowa. But they say that there aren't going to be any here. I hope they are right.

::: So I dont get yelled at:::

I hope they are wrong about May 1st also. I just hope that no tornados hit Sunday

Well, for all of you in Wisconsin tonight, have fun. Western Wisconsin and Eastern Iowa are getting hit by tornados as we speak. I guess the weathermen wern't so wrong (I plan to become one). I will keep working on a forcast up till May 1st which will be in my signature.

And for all of you who don't trust weathermen, try doing it yourself. It is tough work. 1 degree of temperature flux can throw off 3 day's worth of weather. It is very unpredictable.

Ahhhh tornados aren't fun at ALL. It's pretty nice outside as we speak, but it's got that eery vibe in the air and the conditions seem right for a doosy thunderstorm. :!:

^I just checked the weather channel, and the storms are moving into Madison soon, should be by you in Waukesha n like an hour or two.^

Actually, now that I really think about it raining on opening day, that would kind of suck. I say that because that means Deja Vu could not run even if it was drizzling or lightly raining...And I really want to ride Deja Vu.

Madison has ranked up there for most ideal places to live. It doesn't always have to be about attractions.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

Yeah, whatever.
All ive seen of it is gas stations, restrounts, and a few little run down houses. Fits in with the surrounding (middle of nowhere).

I have cousins who live in racine ( i dont know were that is) wisconson and there not hillbillys like u guys are describing.

Also, dont listen to the whether channel guy yet there are still 288 hours until sfgam opens. Anything can change at the last minute. I went on November 1st and it rained alot. If it rains that is fine. But if there are thunderstorms then the rides close down. So if u wish for rain u might end up with thunderstorms and no rides.

Also does anybody know what rides are operating on opening day. Because i heard tht Dejavu was having problems. Also, because i have only been to six flags once in may, how long are the lines in may and on opening day. <That rhymes!!! Are there usually alot of people there on opening day.

And last off, i heard that the new Mardi Gras section wasn't going to be ready for opening day. Does this meen the whole section is gated off or does that meen that only those new rides wont be open. And when they say Mardi Gras section do they meen Revolution.

Sorry about the long post.
