Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
I was wondering, what do you guys think about the construction on the new rides. Do you think their almost done, because the weathers been really nice?

Well, it was already announced that Mardi Gras Won't open on opening day, so I'm going to go with no, they aren't done. Or atleast the theming around them is nowhere near complete. (Revolution I think will be ready for opening day though)

It should be open, unless it's having problems that day.
As far as miscatching, it happens when it's breaking in, a lot.

I'm SURE they'll still have Superman open. You'll probably still be able to go through Mardi Gras. They're just won't be any rides or theming.

Yeah, there won't be any rides or themeing in that area.....just like it's been for the last 2 years
. At least we will have something new to look at now when we are walking through the area, I was tired of looking at the field where Cajun once stood and the mess of PowerDive's station.

Just saw the map in the other topic. It seems there will still be an Orleans Place next to the new Mardi Gras Area. I wonder it we will be able to see construction from the lifts of Superman and Batman.

I'm sure you'll probably be able to see construction pretty up close if we can still walk through Mardi Gras
