I think the only reason they took away the pass processing days was because of all the construction, the last thing they needed was a bunch of people with cameras trying to get pictures of the construction.

It's a money making success for sf anyhow. The system is supposed to be geared toward a family of people who visits the park 1-2 times a year, vs. the enthusiasts who visit the park throughout the season. I'm sure to them that season pass holders getting discounted food/merchendise, bringing friends for free/half price, etc. isn't fair either, but they deal with it.
It's that simple little quote "Life's Not Fair"
If you feel like you're being ripped off becuase you have to wait 1-2 more trains to get on a coaster becuase a fl user got to ride before you, why don't you go buy one in the morning when the park opens, instead of running to be the first person on the coaster for the day?
I like the disney concept of Fast Pass, but how expensive is that? Is it similiar to the Q-Bot system that some sf parks have?
twixmix0303 wrote:I think Six Flags should invest in systems identical to Disney's. You put in your ticket for the day (or season pass) and it spits back your ticket and also prints out a boarding pass for a particular time. You come back at the time printed on the pass and board at the designated entrance. Why this works well:
1. You get a time telling you when to come back. The times are set so that not too many people come at once, and the regular queue keeps moving.
2. It's free, so there's nothing to complain about.
3. They could experiment with different scenarios. I believe that at Disney, the entire system is connected and you can't get another ticket until the one you have expires, and you can only get a fast pass for each ride once per day.
I know Six Flags wants the revenue, but they need to make a concious effort towards increased customer satisfaction. Taking away the pass processing days was not good in this case. If they implemented this system, it would help improve customer satisfaction, especially for the regular attendees of the park (season pass holders) who have to put up with the management more than 1 or 2 days a year.
Your kidding me right? A lawsuit for unspecified damages? For what? just because your impatient? Seriously of all the stupid things i have heard, this has got to be up there as one of the top. Mrs Wanda Cochran, youll never read this but thats fine, you maam are the biggest idiot in the world. And furthermore, your attempt to think your a hero is nothing more then a shameless PR Stunt.
If you dont like the lines, dont go to the friggion park
Call me crazy but I think waiting in line adds to the excitement of the ride. When I reach the station it feels so good being next in line and its all because of the wait.
I wish I lived in Chicago so I could go to Six Flags more often!
^I really think it depends HOW long the wait was, and if you've ridden the ride that day or not.^ For example: After waiting about 45 minutes for B:TR for the first time that day, I think the line added to the experiance, I was excited for the ride. Then i waited over an hour for Iron Wolf which I had already ridden earlier that day. When I got off the train, I hated it. I usually like Iron Wolf, and I think it did have something with how long the line was.

I totally agree. I was at disney world a year ago and experienced this first hand. There fast lane is nice because it gives you a certain time to get in line. What I did was I went on Splash Mountain and got in the regular line(about a hour). After the ride was over, I had about 10 minutes to get to Space Mountain for the fast pass where there was 3 people in front of me!
I hope SFGA implements this system in the future. The customers come first. There already taking your money for food, souvenirs, and parking. All of which are expensive. It's time to satisfy the customer with not only new rides, but with a shorter time of getting on them!

If you're saying that Disney's is patented and we can't use it, I can guarantee thats not true. The name "Fast Pass" is patented, but you can't patent a system as broad as that. It's possible that the design of the actual machines, turnstyles, etc. are patented, but we could still use the same concept.
Can someone update the status of fastlane? Can you use it on Superman or Deja Vu, ever? I know the rides change daily, but I was just wondering if anyone had seen it being used on either of those two rides. Thanks.
That person was right when they said that they had FL on S-UF because I basically went there like every week and every time I would ride S-UF they would take people with FL and I remember because I would try to get ahead so they wont cut me
THEY DO HAVE ONE FOR DE JA VU BUT THEY JUST DONT USE IT ITS RIGHT OUT OF THE HOUSE OF U'S

I think he is talking about RC, and i think RC will never get FL because it only seats four ppl to a train and letting ppl with fast lane cut right to the station in front of all those ppl who are waiting, it is just not FAIR

No trust me they do have it but they dont use it for De Ja Vu because.... well i dont know why, but when you go there it is usually closed and they put a garbage can there to block the path. They use it once in a while.

I believe that ia the employee and mechanic entrance. They don't plan on using Fastlane for Ragin' Cajun.
I have only seen Deja Vu have Fastlane open Once, and that was a year ago or so. I don't think they do it too often. As for Superman, I believe they've been using it on a constant basis. My friends got FPs and used them on S:UF among others, I saw them while waiting in line for Deja Vu, so that was the hint that it wasn't open on that ride. I think that the only rides taht would be worth using a FP on would be Batman and Superman. Superman's fairly new, so people wanna ride it and the line's long. Batman always has a line and its a hot one too.
What you don't understand you can make mean anything.
