Haha I was on the Gravitron at the WI state fair last year and I flipped upside-down as it was spinning cause it's really fun. Normally I can flip back over before the ride slows down enough to make you go down, but as I was sideways the row of seats that I was occupying slid down their tracks and I tumbled onto the floor. I wasn't really hurt though, it was just funny.

I rode one of those Gravitrons once when the carnival came to town. It has the distinction of being the only ride ever to make me sick. There weren't many people there, so the guy gave us a long cycle. My friend timed it at five minutes!! If it would have been three or less, I'd have been fine.
Finally Coaster Season!!

Those Gavitrons are alot of fun. Especially when you try to lift your hand up and you finally get it up then it flies down. Except our ride op was a little crazy.

Thats one of the only spinny rides that doesn't make me sick. I love going upside down when you have an op that doesn't care.

And now that I think of it, at the St. John's festival last summer i was on a ride that was called the Bullet (I think). Basically it just flipped you upside down and the cages were spinning at the same time. We were about halfway in our cycle when it slowed down. The op comes over and we ask why it ended so fast. It was then when he put the pin inbetween the door and saftey latch. Good thing the forces were throwing us to the other side of the cabin, or we might of fell out.

I got free rides on the gravitron back when i was 13 living with my mom in baraboo wisconsin. The fair came to town and my moms second husband was a tatoo artist and he gave a lot of the carnies tatoos. They gave us a ton of free ride passes some rides i did not even have to present a pass just walked on. I rode the gravitron so many times that when i slept that night my dreams were spinning i woke severly sick. What a great time that was i can still hear the def leopord playing on the ride. IS ANYBODY OUT THERE!!!!! DOES ANYBODY CARE!!!! It seemed to go with the ride perfectly. So next time you ride the gravitron request some def leopord you might get laughed at but its cool.

But what's wierd is I can do any spinny ride at GAm without any problems. In fact at FF last year, my friends and I kept getting on and off Fiddler's Fling becuase there was no wait, and it was really close to closing time. Finally the op said to just stay on the ride until you want to be done. We rode like 6 times, and after I got off, I felt fine.

Then again, I never rode CC at the park becuase that was about the same type of ride as the Gravitron.
