Does anybody buy the sports bottle?

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby Iggy ACE on April 11th, 2004, 7:06 pm
If you do there might be changes on the way. I was just in SFStL over the weekend and they now charge a higher refill price on old cups and ones from other parks.
Also on a different note did Great America have any specials on opening weekend. Ex=SFStL had a special on there parking pass for $8.00 and free refills when you bought a cup on saturday for saturday only.
Waiting to fill this space with something stupid to say!

I have the Deja Vu cup from the year it opened. But I never use it, I just get free water instead.

I don't think I've ever bought a drink at any SF park. I always just get the free water.

That's for sure. I'd rather have free water than a $3.50 bottle of Coke.

I don't get soda there cause of the high price, I'll stick with the free water.
This is where I would usually put stuff. Can't think of anything right now... =/

Soda is such as ripoff. Parks such as Holiday World have a Pepsi Oasis with free soft drinks, but what are you gonna do. I always just bring my own pop or get water.

While water is obviously cheaper and better for you, the refills are a good deal. They even had the sports bottles marked down for most of last year.

Cheap souvenir and cheap refills.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

I always get those bottles :D At Fright Fest though they lowered the refills to .99.. was that just for Fright Fest? During regualr season they weren't that cheap. At least not that I remember.

I have one from like two years ago, but I think I only used it the day I bought it...I always forgot to bring it back and stuff. I don't drink too much when I'm at the park anyway.

if they do eventually require you to buy one with every new visit, just put an old one in your purse and line the top with maxi pads. the male security guards freak out at the sight of those little pink packages and they'll let anything through. I've seen it happen!

Where do you go to get FREE refills? That would be nice to know!
You can also use them from other Six Flag parks. I have one from SFMM and use it here and one from SFGAm and used it at SFStL and SFMM and SFKK.
