Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
This is my first time to the site, and the forums. As i have been reading, ive noticed that there is talk of V2 getting new supports and spikes. Did something go wrong and the coaster have to get new parts? Because i never thought V2 had a problem at all.

It had a lot of stress on the existing supports so they added additional supports, it can operate without them.

also to stop the back spike from shaking so much
I wish I lived in Chicago so I could go to Six Flags more often!

Yes, new supports are added. We can all sit here and speculate on why they were added, but unless you work for Intamin or the park you won't get a definate answer on here.
