I do the same thing. Half the time I don't even pay attention to the train flying by me in the station. However, I do like the noise it makes when it launches.

I don't know about you, but it seems the same to me. I'm not that great at music labeling though.
Just to let you know.
Trance-Same beat reapeated over and over again in a loop.Few Words. Example-Omnibus(Laut Sprecher)
Techno-Features a melody and does not loop.Has alot of Words. Example-Words(Dance Nation)
Let's try to stay one topic here (save techno arguements for the general topic).
I've ridden with Kyle on V2 (my first time) and he didn't even flinch on the launch where as I was freaking out. Now I can do just the same.
Good info on why the LIMs make that noise, I was acually looking for information on it. Do you know what brand the LIMs are? If you are in the front row the train stops right under a sticker, but I forgot the manufacturer name.
If you look at MW's V² then you will see that it won't need them. The back tower is short enough to not need them and the whole spiral tower (it's at a 45 degree angle to the horisontal) and the whole tower is supported.

I read somewhere that premeir rides did the lims for Superman:the Escape, so My guess would be they did the lim's on v2 also

Manufactuer is ProLim.
580 volts, I forget the amperage, and they operate at 60hz (frequency of the noise you hear)
