I found this video on jiggidyndg's channel, its a new boarding audio for raging bull, with a more western accent and mentioning the 30 second rule. Nothing too dramatic.

Wishful thinking on that 30 second dispatch. We rode it today, and it takes people more than 30 seconds just to put their items in the bins and get on the train.
Wait I though it was the 60 second rule. When I was there last weekend we had 60 seconds. I'm glad they change the RB boarding audio to a western accent.
So according to the recent snapchat sent by the park the covered bridge has been moved to its new spot. Also I noticed the little fountain in the BTR queue line is gone.

Where was the covered bridge in question and where is it now?

Went yesterday. It was busy but the weather made the waiting not that bad at all. We left at 4pm and the secondary parking lot had several hundred cars parked on that side.
Dark Knight line was about 25% slower than normal. The loading guy said they are down 2 cars for maintenance.
The character trick or treat thing was not as good as last years. Small things that really are not important but the biggest issue was there was not a single character on the path at 12:30. We went back at 3:30 just to get some pictures of the kids with the characters but it closed at 3pm so maybe next time.
The jester ride is still there but it was not running.
Hoping to go back one more time before the end of the season and our passes.

During Fright Fest Rage of the Gargoyles Virtual Reality will be offered only during "Fright by Night". You can experience Demon by day and VR beginning at 6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays and Friday at 5 p.m.
A reservation system has been put in place, if you would like to make a reservation to ride please visit the Demon entrance beginning at 4p.m. Reservations are limited.
My boys and I like the Demon, although it was not extremely busy through the summer. Maybe that added to why we liked it. But none of us were impressed with "Rage of the Gargoyles" either from a technology standpoint [graphcis not all that impressive, to be honest], nor (particularly) from how it destroyed the ride in terms of wait times and delays. We had high hopes, but were really not impressed. Still, we are not the only demographic, I hope it brings its own set of fans and following to be worth the time/investment they put into it.
I'm still wondering if Six Flags is doing the VR on these super old rides to see how riders react? Perhaps a litmus test to see if the ride should be kept around or not? I didn't read that anywhere. It's my own hypothesis.

Interesting hypothesis. My only note would be that they did this to Revolution at SFMM too, which just got new restraints, and that seems like a poor investment if the ride might be removed soon. Maybe at our park they are actually studying just how much it is boosting ridership on Demon (though the VR severely reduces capacity, from what I have read).
^ Good point! Unless they plan on selling Revolution to a smaller park? They did the VR thing to Shock Wave at SFOT (not the same as our former Shockwave). I rode it without the goggles, being somewhat of a purist. BTW that Shock Wave had one section where the entire support post appeared to be shaking quite a bit (not talking about normal movement which is necessary )

Well not all of the older rides are getting VR despite what the company claims to be doing with them. If this was the case, why has New Revolution, Goliath at LR, and the Supermen at SFFT, SFA, and SFNE received it?
It seems like the other side always wins on American Eagle Also, I've ridden Goliath 23 times in one day. HBU? (Sorry in advance for unnecessary commas and parenthesis every where)

SFMM- Part of the Package of adding LapBars to Revolution and refurbishing it LR- Extra Bonus for teens/thrillseekers since Flying Scooters, Falling Star, and Vampire backwards were 2016 additions SFFT- Extra Bonus for teens/thrillseekers since a Tilt A Whirl, Larson Loop, and Disk O were the 2016 additions SFA- Extra Bonus as the only adding in 2016 was a Smaller Skull Island SFNE- See SFMM except replace Revolution with Superman
I credit ITL for making me realize the parks who got New Revolution/Superman VR were the parks that added small/non-thrilling additions as an extra cookie.
