1. The scariest one was on the Viper on 7/6/03
I pulled my lapbar down but I wouldn't Go down to my legs.
I'm not very thin so i called the attendant. She opened the bar and tried again. It worked, but as I was going up the lift hill My lapbar FLuNG open. I pulled it down and thank GOD It stayed down. I'll probably ride the Viper again but still that was the scariest
2. Viper 8/14/02
My Lapbar didn't go down all the way but it stayed as low as it could go.
3. Raging Bull 9/22/99
Up the lift hill I heard this weird noise. Being only 8 years old @ the time I got very scared and cried throughout the ride. The ride was scary but not scary enough to make me cry.
4. Demon 8/16/98
I was riding at night and had a Huge headache after the Ride.
5. Batman 8/24/00
I got stung by a bee 2x while I was getting ready for the ride.
My worst experience was on Son of Beast.
I got my knee caught between the side of the car and the lap bar and it was jamming against my knee the whole trip. It hurt like hell.
I banged my ear once during the corkscrews on Demon and my ear started gushing blood...because of a piercing i had in my cartilage...and I'm not the only one that's had that problem...

I remember going on Mean Streak last August. It was pretty rough, but I loved the ride to pieces anyway. After the ride I got slight breathing problems, but it was no big deal.
Yes last year during labor day weekend i went to Cedar Point and i went on Mean Streak for the first and LAST time ever.. it hurt my back soooooooooo bad..... My dad also said it was very rough... so i dont think we will ever be going on that ride again.
I ride the viper and cause iam a bigger built guy i can only get my lap bar down one notch and it just barly covers my knees. Never once seen it go up on me. The scariest thing is american eagle and viper come off the track during air time in youre seat.
Maneuverman.. pulling high altitude loops and zero g maneuvers every weekend.

I have dreams about that all the time only I was on superman and the harness came off and I fell off and died! It was pretty scary!
My freakiest experiene was on Eagle Red, going up the lift it did that usual roll thing were the left side of the train flips up then crashes back down (pretty cool), but normally it does it a little way up the lift, this time it was the whole way up the lift and part of the drop . After that I told the ride ops to call maintenence, cause that's not normal.

Binks Drake wrote:The nothing like that ever happens to me but my first ride on superman ever broke down. And my first ride period last season broke down.
The first coaster I ever rode at SFGAm broke down. Whizzer, at the top of the lift, for almost a half hour, with thunder and lightning in the distance. That was before I was a coaster nut(1999), and I was pretty creeped out at the time.
Otherwise, the only thing that ever really scared me was in 2001 on PKI's Vortex. Going through the corkscrews, I felt my OTSR give a little, and I almost had a heart attack. But that was it. I still love riding Vortex, so it really didn't phase me at all.
that Whizzer story reminds me of a time my friends got stuck on Triple Play in the rain. three of the girls I was with wanted to ride it, butI didn't 'cause I was feeling a bit woozey. so they got on and before the ride could start, this biblical downpour started. the ride op couldn't start the ride, but he didn't release their restraints either. so the three of them were stuck on Triple Play all by themselves. one squeezed her way out and ran under the shelter, but she was a tiny little thing. the other two just sat there screaming.
not really a bad ride experience for any of us as the girls kinda enjoyed themselves, but it could have been a disastrous "I want to go home" moment.
My worst experience on a ride is quite similar to my worst experience at great america (for those of you who remember my pant-less bathroom disaster). It happened twice actually. You'd think I'd catch it after the first time...But anyway, the first time it happened was on Mean Streak. My friend and I were in the back row and as I was standing up to get out of my seat after the ride was over, I discovered that I was stepping on the bottom of my pants. Following this discovery, my pants fell completely down. This was em-bareass-ing in itself (kidding, I had boxers on), but I was also like the last person out of the train, so I was pretty much on display for everyone in the station. Luckily I was in a good mood and could laugh along with them. It happened again later on a different ride too Haha
Another experience I didn't quite like was also at CP. I was getting out of Magnum and hit my knees on the lap bar (I have pretty long legs). I bounced backwards and slammed into the back of the seat really hard. I had to go back to the hotel and ice my butt for a while. Looking back I guess that was kind of funny too
honestly, I don't know what I'd do if I had pants that didn't drag on the ground and had the cuffs ripped to heck.
I have invested in a belt, though. although the last belt I bought broke on me. not because it was too small or anything, I just unbuckled it and the pin fell off. I actually thought it was pretty funny because it was a pretty new belt. last time I buy a belt from Old Navy, I guess.
Yea...I didn't have a belt at the time, but before I went to Cedar Point I lost a lot of weight because I had mono...so I kind of had an excuse not to have belts, cause my pants normally fit. Oh well I have a belt now, no more pants-dropping mayhem for me.
My brother, dad and I went on one of those Gravitron spaceship things at the WI state fair one time. We had started going and then the operator started to stop the ride and I thought we were done. But then the guy started it up again. He did this about 3 times and then I figured we'd been on the ride for about 5 minutes. My brother and dad were pratically sick, and I had a throbbing headache and almost blacked out. Thankfuly, some other person riding made him stop so we could all get out. I was so dizzy I could barely walk, and my mom told me that I looked like a drunk.
From that point on, I never rode any of those spaceship things again.
