Wish List

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

OK, for reals can we stop talking about ripping up my baby girl like she's nothing?

All I want is a complete paint job and GCI doing some retrack/reprofile work.

AE? Mo' like BAE

Isn't this a wish list? Let's do some wishing.

I wish I can ride AE on it's 100th birthday and on it's 200 birthday.

Now that Mean Streak is getting the ax AE moves up to my favorite woodie.

I really wish SFGAm would rebuild Mean Streak in the picnic grove and retake the record for most wooden coasters and track in a single park.

Why not, I'll bite. If SFGAm is rebuilding a coaster, It's the Riverview Bobs with GCI.

Back seat on blue side was amazing last time I was there. The ride operator didn't push my lap bar down all the way so I was getting great airtime.

Really no one knows what SF will do. And I think we can all agree it's much more likely for AE to get torn down than it is for AE to get RMCed.

I didn't say I know, I said it's not likely at all.

bbd wrote:Goliath would be absolutely nothing like a conversion of AE to what happened to Colossus to Twisted Colossus. Only in your mind the are similar b/c you're obsessed with the RMC-I-box base. Like i said, using your logic MM would not have 2 LSM coasters, though Full Throttle is absolutely nothing like Superman Krypton. The 2 LSM's are absolutely nothing a like, just like Golaith and AE conversion would be nothing alike. What part don't you get on a racing coaster conversion being unique to a modern 2104 RMC like Goiath. Racing coasters are unique by nature..4 trains, 2 tracks, etc... Btw, your second set of pictures is as usual a result lack of reading comprehension coupled with wilful nonsense and wilful misrepresentation.

"Btw" How are you not seeing this? An RMC Topper Track Wooden coaster gives you practically the same experience as an I-Box Conversion of American Eagle would. It doesn't matter that it's racing, it'd be like having two Stand-Ups, except one is a dueling B&M and one is an Intamin. Track looks the same, and it's the same ride type. I'm not obsessed with the issue, and the launch coasters are completely different.

"Btw", you misspelled "Willful" and "2014"

It's nothing like having 2 stand ups. So by your logic Viper and AE are the same, both old school wooden coasters and the racing nature of AE is irrelevant to them being different? . So why add Viper when you have AE? They are the same using your logic . While still spewing nonsense overwhelmingly, you finally admit the 2 launch coasters are different and thus SF has 2 in one park. So, 2 LSM launches are completely different, but RMC of a racing coaster is the same as Goliath to you...LOL!

Here's a better idea. Let's tear down all the steel coasters and replace them with defunct wooden coasters. We'll rename the park "Six Flags Woodie Kingdom" and have a special ERT before the park opens called "Morning Wood"

The demise of Mean Streak may be premature. CP is being coy about what they will do with it, some interesting language. That means RMC getting hold of it is a possibility. They could try to make it the biggest and fastest hybrid. CP is about records.

No, you aren't getting the point. Despite being different track types, we'd have 2 RMC Wooden Coasters, and unlike other Wooden coasters, they're in their own category for elements like Banked Airtime Hills, Zero-G-Rolls, etc. Viper and American Eagle aren't close to the same thing. With your logic, Dragon Challenge doesn't make sense, but Two RMCS right next to each other does. And I never said the LSM coasters were the same in the first place, so yeah.

That would make it a new coaster. Only a GCI refurb would save the original Mean Streak.

I'd be happier with a RMC than MS being completely torn down.

"Btw" If you can't understand that an RMC Eagle would deliver a very similar experience as Goliath, then you are just stupid. LOL!

Your posts have reached a new level of stupidity. I'm done with you

Sorry you're so angry you're wrong. You admitted it unknowingly several posts ago that they would not be the same. Like I said a dozen times, don't respond. But if you do, don't lie like you did several times in purposely twisting obvious comments.

Stop with the speculative crap about AE! You want to see how great and underrated of a coaster it still is, go ride the front car of the red side to get fantastic airtime, or the back car of the blue side on a less rough day to get great speed and some good ejector air. So far only one or two GCI retrackings have been done so that's up in the air for the future, but you can be damn sure that's far more likely than total conversion or removal. The backlash would be Whizzer times 1000.

Can I just wish for the "plant tunnel" to return. Love sitting in that at St. Louis

oh an Sky Trek Tower to be painted it's original color of WHITE, that blue is in eye sore

and one more thing, give me water cannons like back in the day when there was a Field 2 position just outside of the the tunnel on Roaring Rapids. I'd pay 50 cents to launch those suckers instead of the quarter for those stupid tiny squirters.
