I had a feeling they weren't going to get it done by opening, with how late they started. As long as it doesn't open in October like Deja Vu, Ill be happy .
Sounds like Revolution might be ready by opening though.
That info is old news to me because It was said back when they announce it that the Mardi Gras Section will be complete when Daily Operation Begins. So another words they are currently on Schedule and expected it to open on time, which is May 14.
Yeah, I wasn't expecting it to open during opening weekend. At least it's not opening in October, lol. Can't wait, hopefully I can go sometime that weekend.
Well, you can't have everything. I just figured something out though. I'm going on May 14th with my signing group. It's all planned out already. well that turned out well.
Very Few rides open on time at SFGAm, though alot of times it's technical problems. For Instance Shockwave didnt open til June 3, 1988, and Z-Force didnt open til July 10, 1985. However on the other hand both Iron Wolf and Viper opened with the park, both on April 28 of their respective years. And the relocated Rolling thunder made an April 29 opening, which I'd assume was the parks opening day. Now for random dates/facts that are stuck in my head, Giant Drop opened one week after opening day, Batman opened on May 9, 1992 co-encide(sp?) with the opening of Batman Returns at Movie Theatres. American Eagle opened a bit late on May 23, 1981. Of course the park opened May 29, 1976(groundbreaking ceremonies were June 14, 1974((If I'm pulling out my notes, I might as well use them to the fullest))). and if I remember right Southwest Territory opened late, something like mid-late may if not slightly later. Well brain has been drained, and in closing, so yeah, mid-late may is about average for SFGAm.
And to think, all I really wanted to do was put up a test post to check and see if my track record had updated in my signature

I'm praying for May 19th. I'm getting my nephew out of school to take him because he's never been there besides the summer. I usually go during the week in May when kids are still in school and wait like 5.. 10 minutes tops!
I wish i could go up to Great America during the week.... I guess i could do that but then if i did i wold only have 1 day left to miss other wise i would have to take finals.....
Well he's only in 4th grade and the deal was as long as he got all A's and B's I would get him out of school and take him. So far he's all A's so I guess this little trick works

Singing Group or Signing Group? Because it just so happens that Im going on the 15 with my choir.
No, there will probably be an unfinished but paved path with a fence along both sides, if the midway isn't finished. The midway might be finished, but there still may be construction on the rides. But they wouldn't make you walk all the way through the park and then all the way back through the other way.
