Dang it!

I was there Friday the 12th, the signs for single rider are gone a la Batman but I was able to walk up through the SR line and hop right now.

Single rider is still an option as of today. Also:

Today is the first day I have EVER seen RBs queue using the second set of switchbacks. Every ride in the park exceeds a 60 minute wait.

I'm guessing you've never visited the park around July 4th, or the last days of Read To Succeed. :D

I've been there the very last day of Read To Succeed, but that was 5 years ago.

I've been to the park when rb used both queues, but luckily my friend I went with was rich and we got flash passes lol. I think rb was more crowded because Goliath had a scheduled maintenance day. It was weird seeing the park packed when the weather was like 50 degrees and cloudy

Glad to hear this. I got my information from both a security officer a flash pass attendant and a rides team lead who gave the same answer that they thought it would be permenantly removed. The rides lead said they just hadn't covered up the single rider sinage yet but he heard they would be doing it soon. Maybe they are rethinking it

Not sure if this has been posted but the pouches on Viper are gone. Well not completely gone. The zipper is still there.

Then it just the back of the train that didn't have the pouches I guess.

The last row of the trains have the pouch ripped out. Weird, huh.

The pouches were really tight, which unfortunately lead to people just ripping them open to get their stuff out. They replaced some of them with nice plastic pouches, but for some reason never finished. Hopefully they will over the off season or when daily ops end.

Glasses got stuck in them. They eventually got fed up with having to have someone come and cut them out so they were all cut so they couldn't be used.

I was at the park on the 15th and noticed that one of the covered overpasses, where you transition from one section of the park to the next, was totally removed.

Now my wife says I am not very observant so this may have been missing for years but I swore that it was covered on our last visit only a few weeks prior.

I am wondering if this is the overpass by the RC/ERC/JWR if that this is for a ride next year or just to move the ERC parts over to the orbit.

Or its always been like that and I just now noticed.

So you're saying they removed the covered bridge from Mardi Gras to Yankee Harbor? Can we get confirmation from anyone who's been to the park recently?

I highly doubt this is the one. Something like that would close the area for a few days. It's not like they can just take the top off of those without major work. Electrical would have to redone and so on. That would be something they wouldn't do until the park is closed for good for the season since it's in an area where guests walk constantly.

Also on a side note, now that the water park has gone to only weekend operation and will be closed within a few weeks. I sure am gonna miss that Italian Beef they had in there. It was good!! I'm not sure why it wasn't on the menu board though. That was the strange part. Does anyone know why it wasn't advertised?

Wasn't there a overpass cover between Hometown Square and County Fair? Maybe that's the one he's talking about. I was also there on the 15th and I know for it's not the overpass between Yankee Harbor and Mardi Gras.

Nothing has changed with the bridges. The Hometown to Country Fair bridge was never covered. Case closed.

It was partially covered as B&MGuy mentioned. Case closed.

Not exactly a park update but the Google Earth view has been updated to this year (6/26/2016). Also the purple line that was there is gone.
