There's a proper setup for the barrel band thing by X Flight.

Also, all SRQs are the same.

The ERT was pretty poorly executed. They advertised the crap out of it, but I didn't see any table set up. I was told 3 locations to get the wristband: Ride Info Center, Orleans Place, and Guest Relations(the actual location). They never specified what rides were available or what time it ended(Superman and TDK until 8:30. Blegh). And on top of all that, some company rented the park out, making it even more confusing on what the hell was going on.

Also, those plastic TV-like things are gone from the train.

Does a list exist of the Single Rider Queues this year? Was at the park yesterday for the first time this year with my wife and two young kids, single rider has always been great as we can get in a few quick coasters. This was our experience yesterday:

- Goliath: Perfect single rider experience. Entered via the dedicated queue and was seated by the grouper in the next available spot.
- Ranging Bull: No longer has single rider. The Flash Pass gal had no idea and was going to just put me in the line at the bottom of the stairs. I know this wasn't right as I had done Ranging Bull last year so I told her previously I went up the station exit which she agreed. At the station I was told they were no longer doing single rider.
- Justice League: Single rider queue is a joke and they should just take the sign down. I didn't even attempt it as two separate employees told me you just wait in the regular line then you get group with others. Both of them kind of laughed in agreement that this wasn't of any value.

Current SRQs:

-Goliath: Side of the entrance near Train Station. You go up stairs, wait for a free spot the attendant assigns you to.
-Superman: Right of entrance between gift shop and main queue. Designated stairs.
-Batman: Between Bathrooms and exit. Merges with normal queue.
-Justice League: Wait in 90% of the normal line, separate line halfway inside.

What I think should have SRQ:
-Raging Bull: Doing the exit thing they previously did seemed to work out ok. It wouldn't hurt to bring it back.
-Giant Drop: The amount of times I've seen cars with 2-3 people annoys me so much. They could easily add one by the exit in the space between the Employee area and Fiesta Fries.
-V2: If Goliath can have one, so can this. I think going up the exit could work.

I think that's all.

By the way, does anyone know why Sky Trek Tower was closed yesterday? It was not windy at all, it was very sunny, yet it was closed for weather? No wires were hitting the tower, so I doubt it had to do with that.

It was wind. It didn't vfeel very windy on the ground but it was enough to cause the cables to smack into the tower. Same reason why one of Giant Drops cars was out.

I can agree it was windy higher up. I was at Hurricane Harbor for a few hours in the afternoon and it was crazy windy higher up in line for the slides.

Thanks for the single rider info!!

STT was open again, got on last train of Goliath in back row, and Viper is still running good.

Also tried the Fish and Chips at Claimjumpers. It was probably one of the best meals I've had at the park. Highly recommended.

Kidzopolis Cafe was closed on Sunday the 5th. I can't even remember the last time I saw it open.

I mean, does it matter? :P

I wouldn't be surprised if they remove it. I never saw it open, and that area back there is so dead and open it might even fit a kiddie cred... pls cred pls

Was Sky Trek Tower closed Sunday? I did not check but whenever I looked at it it was always at the top not moving. Hope it was closed since we did want to ride it and I forgot to physically check when we were walking by.

The LED sign is back...

But it looks a lot nicer with a border and upgraded graphics.

Well good they both need their 3rd trains as this turns them into crowd eaters.

Kidzopolis was quite busy on Sunday - we've got a 2 and 4 year old now so we spend plenty of time in the kiddie areas :D It would be nice to have snacks and drinks available there, but full meals really aren't needed.

It would be great to see a 3rd train on the whizzer provided they can load quick enough to make it worth while. This past Sunday they were stacking with 2 trains so a 3rd wouldn't have made a single difference, you'd just sit longer on the final breaks. I'd love to go back in time to when they had 5 trains running at once without seatbelts, the energy around that ride would have been amazing. The numerous collisions in the station would have been less than amazing.

Sometimes, rumors are just rumors. I remember a rumor from 2005 that a B&M 4-D was going to replace Whizzer

OFF TOPIC!!!!

I remember that rumor was a B&M 4D going where Justice League is now (Remember: Tumbleweed?)

The 2000s was the time B&M was uncreative and was spewing out more clones than Vekoma. How the hell did someone think they'd make a 4D? Not to mention that this was the Shapiro era, where waterparks were major investments.

It has to do with Raging Bull, they announced that earlier today. I'm going to guess RB is going trimless or backwards.

Raging Bull VR 8)

Maybe it's getting a single rider queue, though that doesn't seem like something they would announce on Snapchat.

I'm happy with either an SRQ or a trimless ride. Backwards might be a bit insane, but even better!

Also, I rode RB trimless and in the rain during Devil Dash. It's incredible. 8)

Edit: I also found a tweet saying that it's Raging Bull:

Speaking from experience, you don't want this! SFNE started VR on Superman the Ride last week. The effect is OK as the graphics are not state of the art (they are running on a Samsung phone so somewhat limited) but what it has done to the attraction is very disappointing at SFNE. First, there is no longer choice of seats which means even if you opt out of the VR you cannot wait for front or back. Second, the throughput with VR is around 50% of what it was previously because the time it takes to get all the headsets on and ready delays dispatch every time. So the lines are about 2 hours plus even on weekdays while almost every other attraction in the park is a station wait. Lastly, the method of sanitizing these units between users is a manual wipe down of the surfaces with antiseptic wipes. It might be OK if it is done very thoroughly but it is part time teen age labor doing it so if you like wearing a "stranger's hat" you are all set.
