Hey all browsing the Great America site today and I noticed they are now offering a season shopping pass. Originally it is supposed to cost 49.99 but they have "reduced" it to 19.99. For all this you get a "special" hat, bag, and shirt, plus 20% off. Personally I would not buy this because The shops are not like what they were in the 90's, and the quality and selection of merchandise has gone down hill. Also a curious thing is that the pass is valid until January 3 2016, but no where is there any place to buy anything online so why the extended use? Thoughts are welcomed.
No I didn't see anything about that online. That would make sense, but it says valid at Great America, could be a typo either way not that great an idea.
What do you guys think is next? Season photo pass? "Get one on or off-ride photo every time you visit the park! Available for a LIMITED TIME for 49.95!!!!"
"Everyone, listen to me! These jerks killed Superboy. They've tried to kill us. Now they say they're going to tear this city apart. I say... like hell."
They already did the season photo pass, wanna say it was 2012, only seemed to last one year, but you got a thumb drive and you could get unlimited on-rides all year that they'd put on the thumb drive. I forget the price but it was pretty low I think, like $30 or so. I think there may have been a discount on paper photos, but the point was electronic only.

I asked the wife about the photo pass and she said it was not that great, there was times that the photos would not show up on the flash drive. She does not know how much she paid for it anymore or where the flash drive is anymore. Thank you for the link DeathbyDinn

I actually bought the flash drive back in 2012 and I still have it. I believe it costed somewhere around $30. I never had any problems with it and I was sad that it did not return for the 2013 season.
Yeah that was a bad way to mock great america cause a photo pass actually sounds awesome. I wonder if photos count as a retail item? Anyway it seems like they are just gonna hammer the season pass add-ons until it dies, so it will be interesting to see what they come up with next.

I remember this from a few years ago. The prices seem right. The first 2 visits I had the flash dive, I'd get all the on rides. After that, I didn't want to wait for them unless I was with someone who wanted one. I guess it didn't quite take the way they thought it would, and I can honestly say I don't miss it either.
Ummm.... Are you guys kidding me? The Photo Pass has been around for a while, it's just a card instead of a flashdrive. I bought one in 2014, it was 34.99+1.99x for SPHs and 24.99+7x for nonpassholders. It's changed twice since then. At the beggining of the year it was 19.99+1.99x with a free print during first picture. The new system is $30 for unlimited. Since I already bought my pass for 2015, I paid $10 and got a free print for the inconvenience. Everything is online now at mysixflagsphotos.com. There's tons of layovers, can zoom, crop, it's actually surprising that it's a SF site.
It seems like the other side always wins on American Eagle Also, I've ridden Goliath 23 times in one day. HBU? (Sorry in advance for unnecessary commas and parenthesis every where)
