I'm not sure if this has been pointed out yet, but if you look in this picture of S:UF (computer generated)http://www.themeparkadventure.com/sfgamblg.jpgLook at the bottom if the pretzal loop. Notice how there is no track at the bottom? Looks like there might be a solution to the dirt hill. I know it's just a rendering, but it looks pretty accurate to me.And if this has been mentioned before, let the flamming begin.
Wow that's pretty crazy! What a lazy artist, gosh... j/k That picture is really awesome. Looks like S:UF will be a great new addition to the park, it looks so nice sitting there.
We'll to correct this is easy. At SF over Georgia the ride goes through a short tunnel. If you look to the left of where the track "ends" fter the loop you can see a grayish area hidden by ride supports. Thats the tunnel. It's a pre-fab and earth structure.

He wasn't lazy... there's a tunnel! P.S. That's an excellent picture!
S:UF at SFOG is on completly different terrain than our S:UF. The lift hill itself is sort of on a hill and the final helix is very close to the ground. The brake run and station also are on a hill I believe and the Bottom of the Pretzal loop is the lowest part of the land. Therefor our Pretzal loop needs to be built in a trench.I saw a picture not that long ago that really shows how much different the terrain at SFOG is, if I find it ill post it.

I know Corey! I guess I just didn't show my sarcasm. That would be really rough to make and I was trying to show that he couldn't just go that last step... but yeah I am aware of the tunnel, it's going to be awesome! *start sarcasm* By the way You didn't have to tear me apart!!!!!! *end sarcasm*
Heres what the very small trench looks like at SFGAdv.http://www.gadv.com/SUF21503l.jpgSFGAm's will probally look about the same, heres a pic of SFGAm's(its covered by footers but you can tell where its at)http://www.themeparkadventure.com/sufelg.jpg
Awesome! So it is just like any little trench dug by Arrow for their looping coaster (I knew there are a few out by my house, don't recall if the Demon has any) to enter and exit the loop in?
There is way to much dirt for it all to be from the little trench and all the footers being dug.... They have to be getting dirt brought in for landscaping. That the only thing that makes sence to me
Why didn't they take the ashpalt out, it wasn't the cheapest way around building the coaster? I hate how they did that with X-Flight at SFWoA, it's a parking lot coaster, and part of it is on the lot where they didn't tear all the concrete up.
X-Flight is odd, from what I remember from looking at my pics. The parking lot is torn up but it is just filled in with grass, so instead of being a parking lot coaster it pretty much turned into a grass field coaster. It doesn't have any landscaping at all, and the footers on the coaster are huge. It would have been nice if they filled in around the footers better, instead of just putting grass where the parking lot is.Im hoping SFGAm fills around the footers better and adds some trees as well. If they do what that rendering shows, ill be one happy camper.
Yeah I agree. The appearance of a coaster is very important to me. It is that first impression of the ride: How much time and money did the park put into this thing? X-Flight was just kinda tossed in there. I sure hope that isn't what happens to S:UF, but I doubt it will. SFGAm knows what they are doing.
