the new paint also might have been wet when that pic was taken which would have made the two colors seem even more dissimiliar

not to fight, but as of right now, everything that has been heard is that our coaster will not get the blue, instead it will stay black with the yellow added on track...

I made a little visit today and decided to climb up that mondo hill outside the gates to get a good view of B:TR, the bottom of the lift is yellow, extremely bright. With some cloud cover it looked like a tennis ball. As far as V2, no real supports are up, there looked to be a little stump on the back tower supports for them to be added.

The yellow that is about 1/3 of the way up the lift is just primer. The real yellow looks a lot like the background of the Batman Logo.

The yellow on the lift isn't primer, its the first coat. They need two coats to make it that vibrant yellow that you can see inside the station.

This is from Screamscape (I'm probably just stating the obvious, but anyways):

(3/24/04) One of our local spies reported in that Batman seemed to be getting the same bright yellow repaint as it’s cousin in New Jersey.

Source: http://www.screamscape.com/html/six_flags_parks_f-l.html

Pictures of B:TR at Six Flags Great Adventure: http://rcdb.com/installationgallery32.htm (I don't think these are really good pics)

I don't get whats up with the whole "Our local spies" thing on Screamscape. It was announced in January I believe that Batman and Demon were being repainted at NoCoasterCon.

The funny thing is, Screamscape said our Batman was black when it was a very dark blue.

Coasterdude316: Ya,I don't get this "local spies" thing. :?
This is where I would usually put stuff. Can't think of anything right now... =/

Batman being black is just like magnum being orange, it never really was the color, but at times it looked like it was.
you can't believe it - you didn't mean it
but they saw you do it and they know your name

I still dont get why every body thinks Batman the Ride use to be dark blue, because all the websites with ride info say that the rails, and supports are black, I never ever even thought of BTR being dark blue. I mean how does blue contrast to Batman any way.

Dont believe me go to http://www.sixflags.com pick SFGAm and click on BTR, look at where it says color in the stats, it says black and grey.

Up close Batman looks black to me. At least in the line when you are really close to the support, it does.

Look does it really matter it looks black maybe its a dark blue? But who cares those colors are gone now. in my opinion I think Batman looks the best at Magic Mountain (Grey track black or DARK Blue supports). It would look cool if it was painted those colors since V2 is right by it with simular colors on the track
