I personally wont lock it if you create one, but some of the other mods might think it's to early. Go for it. Worst that could happen is it gets locked.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

Go right on ahead, But I would wait until screamscape starts spreading rumors about what's coming to GA in 2015.

So Goliath had its first break down and the red train hasn't been running lately. At least nothing happened opening day as far as I know.

The red train is running now and has been for a while. So it has been running lately.

Tornado warning at the park is what they are saying at Goliath. Goliath is closed and we are advised to seek shelter. Everyone is leaving the line.

F3 Tornado warnings are being announced at the park over the main speaker.Sirens are going off. Very poor job by the park not keeping patrons safe, they care about themselves, before others. They don't tell you where to go, since they have no plans. They tell you to go where you feel safe, I wanted to go into the pictorium because that is where I felt the safest and that is a place where many people could go for safety, but they said no you can't go there.

That's good to know. Goliath line was probably even longer with only one train running. I missed the post that said the red train was up and running again.

Actually, Goliath experienced 4 breakdowns yesterday when I was in line.

Your best bet at the park would be to just go to the nearest secure structure (building) in a tornado warning. They do not have a good place for thousands of people to go. There was a tornado warning due to rotation in the severe storm that passed through, but word so far is there was no touchdown in Lake County, but some wind damage. We drove through the storm on the way home from Indiana and the rotation was very clear on radar on my phone as we raced to get north of it on 94 (risky, I know).

The dark knight queue line is a place to use as shelter, But pictorium should be use as a shelter since it isn't open right now. I know this is of topic. Even though there was lighting near the area Goliath and the other rides remained open on Thursday. They warned us that Goliath might stop operating due to the weather. Goliath stopped running around 8:55 so me and my friend chose to leave the park. I think once the lighting was spotted Goliath and the other outdoor rides should of closed. I guess the lighting was far enough way where the rides could stay open. We were out of the park just before the down poor.

Just to be fair....Raging Bull had 3 breakdowns while I was there last Saturday, and it was down twice during Media day earlier this week. It happens with every ride everywhere.

Do new rides usually break down a lot when they first open? Seems like Goliath has been breaking down a lot.

On the topic of breakdowns, they do happen especially on newer rides (I remember waiting a while on XFlight). Also Raging Bull was down just before the tornado warnings as the pulled off the teal train.

On the tornado topic that was extremely poor planning. They wouldn't allow people in some restaurants resulting in people standing in the food court and under awnings. I realize the park has tons of guests but there was no clear direction. I ended up walking from Raging Bull when the sirens began to Thrill seekers by Goliath. There was more concern in keeping Goliaths queue empty then actually get guests to safety.

Exactly. They tell you to go where you feel safe, I said the Pictorium, even though I knew it was closed, and they said I couldn't go in there even though I among many other guests would at least be safe in there.

^^That is unbelievable, that patrons were being denied proper shelter. I saw others posting about this elsewhere online tonight. Very unsafe, as the instructions from the National Weather Service for any tornado warning are to seek shelter in a sturdy building. And, people should seek the nearest shelter, not have to search around for an accommodating one.

I honestly thought CAD was fxxkin incredible lastnight! The fog & mist made it the best night I have ever had in our park, ever! I was in the park till 12:45am, crazy :D I'm like a little kid with how excited I am over this! haha

But seriously, I cannot get over Goliath's night rides. I didnt expect There to be any effect in the tunnel(s). Riding that lift at night barely being able to see the tops of any rides was beautiful. It was that tunnel with the bright blue light & fog/mist blew my mind! Simply because by time you can see again, you are practically upside down in the first over bank!! Ugh I loved it so much! Best night in the park! Nothin is goin to top it sadly so I'' have this kick a** memory & I'm fine with that!! ;D

Side note: Has anyone else noticed how many times the sides of the seats are flying off during the ride? I was waiting on the exit ramp for our boarding passes (foolishly didnt know I had/got to go up the fast lane entrance) & a seat pad flew off TWICE on the airtime on each train. Then at night for CAD one flew off the red train when I was in the station! I hate sayin this, but why on Earth would RMC make the trains so cheap?! Ok, maybe cheap is rude to say but They're held together with what looks like heavy duty Velcro/glue strips.... kinda odd.

Yeah, I was in the first 900 riders, and the side cushions were starting to peel off.

The pads are just attached to the train by Velcro. I would like to see them more permanently attached.

I'm sure sooner or later Goliath won't break down as much and the dispatch times won't be so long.

Well we really dont know. Its early. Things might get better they might not. Lets hope it is just having issues that will go away in time.

It's no different then when Outlaw Run at Silver Dollar City opened. I was there the first two weekends of operation last year. Dispatch times were slow and there were mechanical issues. I've been riding coasters for almost 50 years. They're machines and they break down. Most of what we experience now are safety trips with sensors, etc. . Because of what we as enthusiasts want them to do, they get more complex and there are more things to go wrong. In the end, they probably have 95% or more uptime. It just seems worse when it happens when you're waiting.
Dispatch times will improve and they would be better at this point if the public would listen to the directions as far as buckling seat belts, not pulling down the lap bar, etc. All that adds time too.
