I sent a request to participate in the commercial shoot as well. I haven't received a email yet though. If I don't get one by later tonight, do you think I won't be chosen?

I wouldn't imagine so, unfortunately. It would be nice but I would guess they sent all of the invites out at once, unless they needed people to confirm they were coming. For those who did get invites, did they request a confirmation from you that you would be going? If not I'd guess all of the invites are out at this point.
For anyone feeling sad about not getting an email, don't worry, you're not part of a seeming minority-I didn't get chosen either-but what else is new. I didn't get picked for XFlight or NamtaB when I signed up for those commercial shoots. lol

No idea how but this is my 3rd commercial shoot! I guess I'm lucky.
I've been inactive for quite some time, But just thought I'd come but to share my excitement that I also will be on the early shift for the commercial filming!! I'll be the 6'3" guy in white shorts (idk what else I'm gonna wear yet haha.).
At the park today and while waiting on a puke cleanup on Demon, the ride operator was saying random things to keep the crowd entertained. She asked whose excited for Goliath, and then said it was opening the 15th. For what that is worth.
Goliath had wood work installed at the base along the service road. It was almost like they were framing out a roof for a structure about 5 feet tall.
The Park Closed the Pictorium for the rest of the regular season at least. We went to go see Screams and Dreams and it turns out they cancelled the shows. It also seems that they took it off of all the show guides and printed out new ones!

That is very strange. They still show it online. I wonder why. Was any reason given?
^ The girl at the carousel gift shop said that she heard it was something to do with Goliath. I asked her what exactly and she didn't know. I'm thinking two possible things: They scrapped the Goliath documentary idea since by the time they finish editing and post production it will be mid-late July and the current attendance isn't worth making a new video. Number 2 is that maybe the projector broke and due to Goliath they do not have the budget to fix it. The past couple of times that I went to the Pictorium I noticed the picture to be really fuzzy and super dark. I guess there could be other reasons but I'm not really sure why. Also, they're not the best at keeping their website up to date.
