That is actually what normally happens. For X-Flight the commercial shoot was on May 7th and the media day was on May 10th. So it does make sense to have the commercial shoot before the media day.

One thing here people are not taking into account it Six Flags needs to train the supervisors, then leads, and then the rest of the crew last. First time certification on a particular ride also means you cannot get both assigned positions on the same day. Rocky Mountain does testing, then Six Flags does more while training. Stuff like that takes a while.

Hopefully, these dates don't get changed!! I am angry because I can't participate in the commercial shoot on the June 14th. It's my graduatuon party and even the early time would be quite a stretch! My question is: why can't they do a season pass preview day on the 19th, and then open it to the public on Friday, June 20th! Wishing thinking but it probabaly won't happen! Hopefully, there are NO MORE SET BACKS!

It's hardly noticeable. Also, there are warped boards all over the place on our other wood structures.

Sporlo, I think it stands out so much to be because the rest is so perfect looking.

Eh Ive seen worse. And its a good idea to use your not so good wood for things like that that arent load bearing. when I did set construction our supplier sucked most of our wood was warped as hell. We built a platform once that we had to redo every 2x4 and plywood was warped the whole platform turned out curved!

One note about most of the exit passes they've been handing out. If it's a ride that has Flashpass, you enter at the Flashpass entrance and then join the line there. If the ride doesn't use Flashpass, then you go to the exit.
Still a good deal.

Completely understandable. What if it's Platinum Flashpass only?

It seems like the other side always wins on American Eagle :?
Also, I've ridden Goliath 23 times in one day. HBU? :P

The pass would say whether or not it's valid at Goliath. Most will say they're not valid at Goliath like they did for X Flight back in 2012.

If they are the exit passes that you got from exchanging a midnight ticket, then they will be good for Goliath. As for exit previous years/ride breakdowns or whatever, I'm not sure, although I was able to use exit passes on X Flight the year it opened with no problems.

How did you get exit passes? I don't know about it. I'm sorry if I asked because I'm too way behind.

If you bought a Goliath T-Shirt for the June 1st Midnight event. You trade that ticket for exit passes because the event was cancelled. I got two of them :)

You get 2 exit passes for every June 1 tickets you turn in.

Do you guys think that they will only have the orange train running once Goliath opens? It will definitely slow operations down but I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they only ran the orange train once it opens.

^ According to a TPR post, the whole red train is now on the transfer track, and apparently an employee near the ride stated that the ride will open with only one train operation

Goliath opening with only one train will be hell on those 3+ hour lines.
They should at least run both trains to help keep the lines down.

If they only run one train it will be a 1.5 hour wait with exit passes!

Yes, that would/will suck. But at this point, getting both trains ready would probably make the ride open later, and they're late enough already that they're not going to do that.

If this is true, I'm sure the park is willing to sacrifice one train for a few days or weeks (depending on how long it takes to get the red train ready) instead of keeping the ride closed altogether until both trains are ready.

I highly doubt this is true. Besides, how much false information have we gotten from employees so far? Any park would be insane to open a new ride with only one train.

So I was watching the Goliath POV again and I made a discovery. There is a second storage track behind the transfer track. You have to look closely because the storage rails are brown.

A couple things for those trying for the commercial shoot that haven't done this before....
This isn't ERT, there can be long delays between runs while they move cameras/set up shots. Generally the PR folks choose who sits where and when. Finally, for those "hands up" riders (Aren't we all)...Generally you can't do that for commercial shoots. That want people that are having fun but they also want you to hold on. Just a couple things from previous experience.
