Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

By window I mean "Mid-June" or "After memorial day" or something of the sort. Employees can't be trusted when it comes to leaking it everywhere. That's a PR time bomb.
Fair enough. I don't however feel as if this would be info they are trying to keep a secret. Why be secretive now?

I am sure the park doesn't want to give employees a concrete date to relay to customers. Best for them to say it will open sometime in June.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

Because its better right now to not have a date out there right now so they dont have a date to miss. It will be open in id say under 2 weeks if everything goes smooth but who knows. The point of testing is to catch anything so it can turn up things and when it does it takes time to resolve them. It will open and when it does you can be confident it is ready and it is safe. Hey, it could be worse. Deja Vu didn't open until October

It can always be worse haha I rather have a ride that is safe to ride coming out late than a ride where something happens then there is a stigma around it and they have to take it out, The park then lost a ton of money, and RMC then has a stigma. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Short Goliath update from yesterday.
I can confirm the webcam is still present on Yankee Clipper
Signage being brought to the ride
Ride Qualifier sign
Additional rules
Train was put in the station around 4:00pm, but it did not cycle while the park was open.
Most of the fencing seems to be done
Working on the top of the lift stairs
Last diagonal brace still missing on the stall.

Awesome Photos!!! I'm still a bit confused as to where this "Missing Zero G Stall Piece," is supposed to go if someone could explain.MOD Note: Completely unnecessary to re-quote photos when making your response.

Green circle shows the piece that is on the other 5 supports for the stall. Yellow shows where the sixth one is missing.

Thank you so much for clearing that up for me. Maybe RMC just forgot a part back in Idaho? Hahaha

Hi, longtime reader, first time poster.
In that picture, I'm trying to tell, is that a seatbelt in the illustration? It's hard to tell and I haven't heard officially if this ride will have seatbelts or not?

^ Yes, Goliath has seatbelts. Also, I was just told by a friend at the park that the red train is currently testing.

Just saw a video on the TPR channel. Hopefully they can solve that screeching problem.

That noise is ok! Nothing is wrong with the ride! Outlaw run makes this noise as well!

The video I aw on the SFGAm Evaluator YouTube channel was the orange train I believe. Much less screeching than the first run. Or maybe it was red. Can't find it now.

I can confirm that the ride did not test during operating hours today. It may have tested after but I'm not certain. Posted while reading your mind.

I can't post a picture from my phone but jiggidyNDG confirmed testing at around 815 today! So they did test after the park closed

I might be in the minority here but I'm happy to hear that Goliath will have seatbelts on it in addition to the lapbar. Call me a chicken but a seatbelt just makes me feel a little bit safer.

This topic has been dead today. Great video Nick. It's noticeably faster than the first run.
