JiggidyNDG, the one who took the picture of the nighttime event stated on Facebook that "This has NOTHING to do with any previously scheduled ride times or events, I was told". So I am assuming the ride will still open on May 31st.

Agreed, where's the exclusivity?
Did they ever claim there would be any "exclusivity"? The main selling points of the Gold Pass are free parking, an extra Bring-A-Friend-Free, and early entry to the Water Park. If people bought them expecting some exclusive Goliath thing, that's on them, not the park.
A perk listed for gold passes is Exclusive ride time events! My 12yr. Old Doesn't need parking. I know its my problem, when I saw Exclusive ride time events. I was hoping for something a little more for Goliath. I will have my shirt on with a big smile on my face at 11:59 p.m. June 1st.

Read https://www.sixflags.com/greatamerica/s ... son-passes a bit closer. The regular season pass also lists "Exclusive ride time events". The only things that the Gold pass has and the regular pass doesn't are the things shown in red.
Rest of the track for the drop is going on now. All that's left is the very top section of track, a couple more pieces for the lift, and zero-G stall.

Haven't been in the forums in a while but has anyone figured out if season pass holders can ride on the 30th? My friend was going to come down from MN but if it isn't happening I just wanted to let him know so we can reschedule. Thanks everyone.

The western Great Lakes ace page on Facebook they asked about the switch in their night event and they said they have only changed the midnight event nothing about the season pass day
*** Media Day and Golden Ticket Ride Update *** Here's the latest from the park:
"Media day is still May 29."
"(The) Midnight event is being switched to Sunday, June 1. Just like what the park signs say. It was a very last minute decision and not one that we made lightly."
I only see confirmation that the Midnight event is June 1st and Media Day is still May 29th. Nowhere is the Season Pass Day or the public opening mentioned in any way.
Clearly if they rescheduled the Midnight event, they had a reason, and until we know that reason or the park confirms the rest of the dates, nothing can be assumed.

Can't wait to ride this behemoth ride!
Combined with that information I'm making a educated guess. Since they have been pretty good about telling us event changes I'm going with the information already provided.
Nobody knows anything for sure, not even the park. The only way to know for sure what's going to happen is to wait. I'm sure as soon as anybody finds anything out, they'll post it here, no need for people to ask every day what is going on.

Same as X-Flight. They'll plant their own. No laid out grass.

Got it. Also one more question. What is the estimated price of Goliath?
