Most of the electrical work is practically done besides the sensors and chain being installed and the finishing of filling the track with grout and than it'll be ready to test of course adding the train but that easy!

By that wording, you don't like it?
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

He probably meant he was wrong about being skeptical. But yes I was confused too.

It was posted on the Goliath Six Flags Great America 2014 Facebook page. There is also a sign in the park by Goliath. I'm using my phone so I can't send the link at this moment
Guess that answers that. Must be 100% on that date now, because now that the event is open to more than just ACErs, it will be alot harder to reach everyone if they miss that date
Still haven't heard anything about Media Day, but a Sunday Media Day would be very strange.

I agree with the Media Day thing.....the purpose of Media Day is to have all the local channels morning shows come out to promote it live on air. Since the morning shows don't air on the weekends I'm curious what will happen to media day. The plot thickens......

I might have to visit the park this week to pickup a Goliath shirt then. Where are they located or is Thrillseekers already open? I went to the park a couple weeks ago and there was no Goliath merchandise anywhere except for lanyards.

^^^ That sign shows that everything is on the latest schedule, right? Media Day on the 29th. Season Pass day on the 30th, and this is where I'm a bit confused, but the Midnight Premier at 11:59 on the 30th-1st, and Grand Opening on June 1st? Right?
A few weeks ago when they moved everything up one week, it was media day on May 29th, season pass holder preview on the 30th, and public opening on the 31st.

Gotcha. It would help if I could remember that May has 31 days... So everything might get pushed back a day. That wouldn't be the end of the world, though it could impact my ability to attend media day. Could this be a separate event than the other scheduled events, or are we assuming that this is the same event that people were given tickets to at the construction tours and such.
I called the park earlier today and asked when Goliath will open and she (can't remember her name) told me that Media day will still be on Thursday, May. 29th, the season pass holder day on Friday, May 30th and the official opening on Saturday, May 31st. Not sure why the midnight event is on June 1st. I may call or email the park and ask for more clarification. If I find/hear any new info about anything Goliath related, I will post it here.

It says 11:59 June 1st. That means it's June 1st/2nd.
