Hey guys! I have a question. On the latest "Goliath Insider" episode, they did a Raging Bull/Goliath comparison of height/drop.
From the video, It looks like they measured RB at its peak and added that number (202 ft) with the 6ft underground (bringing it to 208 ft) which includes the pre-drop before the main plunge. Is this correct or should the actual drop height be minus the height of the pre-drop? (if I'm making any sense).
I ask because from the video it looks like Goliath drop isn't that much shorter than Bulls main drop but will be even more intense than Bull. Although though Bull is a bit taller, Goliath is much steeper.
Here's a little comparison of the station's exterior from when Wolf was there till just a few days ago from the Goliath insider video to see the progress made...

Does anyone remember how long the line was for the X-Flight season pass preview day? I'm planning to go to Goliath's and was curious as to what to expect in terms of wait time.
^ X Flights preview weekend wasn't really that bad. Maybe two hours at peak but it wasn't really that bad compared to what some new rides get. I don't see Goliaths line being that bad, at-least in the morning because the preview is on a Friday.
In response to the single rider line question. Yes you don't choose anything in single rider line. Single rider line is a shorter wait and when you get up there they send you to a row with 1 open seat. If you go in single rider line with a group you will be separated and you dont get to choose your seat. You can wait less, ride by yourself, where they put you. Or you can choose your row (most times), sit with your group, and wait longer.
Track is being lifted into place at the far end by the dive loop and lift.

Thanks!
I went the Sunday and it was at 5:00 a 30 minute wait
On the season pass day for Goliath, will you need to present your pass to someone at the front of the line? If so will you have to show it to them every time you re-ride it?

Yes, that's how it was for X-Flight's season pass preview day.

X-Flight was open the whole weekend to just pass holders and then opened to everyone the weekend after if I remember correctly.

Well that would be the time to get in as many rides as you can because the next day when the ride opens to the GP, the line is going to be EXTREMLY LONG . Probably between 2-3 hours or more.
I remember reading something about how the station will have to be modified to fit the train length. The roof and railings look the same in the before and after photos. I am curious to see what they are going to accommodate the train, assuming all of the gates would have to be replaced anyway.

I hope you realize they are not done redoing the station yet.

I'm wondering about that as well. I was under the impression that Goliath's trains are longer than IW, but you can tell from the photo that the station isn't getting any longer. Hopefully the station extension isn't just a cheap add on to the existing structure.
If they build the extension correctly and blend it in well with the original structure, as well as continuing the theme onto the extension to make it match with the original structure, then it wont look cheap.
