It will be 71 mph have an 80 something degree drop (can't remember exactly what the drop is). They are claiming it will be, "The Greatest Wooden Coaster in the World," it's also going to have 3 inversions, and will be built into a mountain hill. What are everyone's thoughts? It sounds cool and too bad it won't be in the U.S. Will Goliath still be able to impress? Also do you think that sfgam payed RMC to not build anything that surpassed their records? It seems that the stats are extremely close to those of goliath but just a tad short as to not break the record. It will also be Rmcs longest coaster, at 4,000 something feet long.
Yes. I made a post about it here http://sfgamworld.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=14680 at about 3am this morning. Golaith will be a great ride. Wildfire most likely will be as well. RMC is here to stay & kick some a** with every step of its journey, that's a promise
What do you guys think Goliath's minamal height requirement will be set at? 48" or 54"? I am leaning towards 54", based on the type of coaster that Goliath is turning out to be.
^^I don't think that Goliath looks any more/less forceful or insane than Outlaw Run which has a 48" min. height. That being said, this is Six Flags, so who knows what they are going to do.

I'm assuming it will be 48'' since Outlaw Run is. Outlaw Run is one of the most extreme coaster I've ever been on and there were smaller kids riding it perfectly fine. RMC will set the minimum at 48'' but SFGAm can always up it a few inches if they choose to.

They already have about 40% of the dive loop tracked! I looked at the webcam a few hours ago, and saw track rising up the dive loop just a little, now I just looked at it again, the track is much higher, closer to the apex of the dive loop. They're moving quite fast today!

Just as more confirmation of this, they say Wildfire is going to have a limit of 120 cm, which is 47.25", so basically the same thing.

Does anyone know how long the queue will be? Weird question, I know. It's just that Iron Wolf's queue was pretty short and I was wondering if they added another queue house or redid the existing one?

They are re-using IW's queue and switch backs. I don't know if they will add a new switch back block in the queue. But, I think Goliath will need it. Otherwise, you can expect the line to stretch all the way to Yukon Territory or if not in that direction, all the way past American Eagle's entrance or as far back as X-Flight. The total amount of time to expect for a line like that could easily be 3 or 4 hours.
They said last year that they will add another queue block in addition to Wolf's existing queue. I think it's going where the stage was or something like that.

I honestly find it quite stupid for them to do that because Iron Wolf actually had another queue block where the stage was, they removed it and put the stage there. If they do it, then its like they removed something to put it back.

Keep in mind that Goliath will get much more attention and longer lines than Iron Wolf ever had. Iron Wolf's lines rarely stretched beyond an hour to an hour and a half in it's last five years. Therefore, it had no need for the extra queue block switchbacks. Goliath will need them to accommodate all the people who will end up swamping it during the busy summer months.
