I have a feeling they're not just building this randomly. There's PROBABLY a plan…
Despite the fact that they are jumping back and forth during construction, there is one thing we know, that is that the coaster is still going up pretty fast. I think they have their team split in two. Team A is working on the support structure and Team B is working on the track. I also think there is a third team working on the station, queue and enterance and exit paths.

That's good to know. The trains won't be able to go anywhere on the track until the entire ride is fully tracked. I hope they start the lift hill soon.
^ Yay, someone got it right, unlike the person on TPR that thought that little crane in Camp was somehow working on Goliath's lift
And in case anyone is wondering, the crane in Camp Cartoon is owned by SFGAm. It's the one usually parked near the train shed, though I have no idea where they've been keeping it this winter.
^ You'd be wrong. Ride set-up is well underway now. The flat rides in Camp Cartoon were put together 2 weeks ago, and American Eagle already has 2 trains on Red side.

Wow! Thanks for correcting me. When will they start testing the rides?
Right now, any ride that is ready could test at anytime as long as the weather is decent. Running a coaster for the first time of the year in cold weather is not ideal due to the increased risk of valleying. Training for the Ride Operators will start the first or second weekend of April.
If you look at the webcam today, there are two cranes down by the Iron Wolf station. My guess is that they are adding track in the station. They are probably going to work on the left turn out of the station then work on the half of the lift hill and the dive loop.
The cranes are placing more bents for the Dive Loop. They put one up yesterday afternoon and one up this morning.
Thank you for the information. Will the rest of the park be open?
Yes, the whole park will be open!

This is a very random thought however, do any of you guys think it would be cool if they made the area around Goliath a new themed area? I was thinking the new themed area would start right after Kidzopolis and stop at the bridge that connects the County Fair area to the Yukon Territory. They could change the theme for Fiddlers Fling. Since a lot of the shops and restraunts around Goliath will be themed for Goliath, why not make that whole area themed after Goliath. I was thinking about this for a while since Goliath doesn't fit in to the theme for County Fair.
I apologize if this does not make sense. This was just a thought I had. I know it may sound silly.
I don't think they would theme it all just based around Goliath. They probably aren't changing anything except for the stores and such around Goliath. Look at X-Flight. They are doing pretty much the same thing they did there, re-theme some stores and that's it, not re-theme the whole area.

The whole areas not being turned into a Goliath zone. From my knowledge, they're renovating Funnel Cake Foundry and Johnny Rocket's to accommodate the crowds in that area now, not theming it to Goliath. The only things being themed are the ride, a gift shop, and a snack stand from what I heard.
