6 new shows?

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby Binks Drake on March 7th, 2004, 9:40 pm
I know it's nothing big i was just wondering.

Are they going to be using the wilderness theatre this season. I was counting and i couldn't tell.
Pictorium
Grand Music Hall
Amphitheatre (sp?)
Market Thingy
Snowshoe Thingy
Theatre Royale
Parade
New Bandshell

Oh. I get it. I answered my own question. But now this arises a new question. Which six are getting new shows? And is one of them going to be at the wilderness?

I know it's still early, but it just occured to me now.

The Southwest Territory Amphitheatre is not getting a new show.

New shows I am aware of:

Theater Royale (Las Vegas Style Magic Show with Bugs Bunny and Friends)
Carousel Plaza (Meet and Greet along with a show with Bugs Bunny and Friends till 3pm.)

Wilderness Theatre will be used this year for the Joy Fest and Gospel Fest that they will be having.

Places that are Obviously getting new shows even though I was not directly told that they are getting new shows:

Pictorium
Grand Music Hall
Parade

The Grand Music hall is getting the magic show...and as far as I know....I was told there was going to be a separate Bugs Bunny show in the Theatre Royale...not the two combined...but, i could be wrong.

no, i think your right swimgurl.

And carlo, that's only 5. And i thought the amphitheatre was getting a slightly changed show. Plus, what about the taphouse, and the market stage. I don't think that joyfest and gospelfest count. They get new small shows all over orleans during mardi gras. And in Southwest during fiesta americana.

I was at NCC; He never said anything about the Grand Music Hall. He said that there would be a New Las Vegas Style Magic Show with Bugs Bunny. (In less he was talking about 2 shows at once) Then he went on and said that they will have meet and greet in the Front of the Park with a Show Just as Disney Does there Show in front of the Cinderella’s Castle.

Yes the amphitheatre shows will be the same people. They will just change a few acts around. I did not count the Joy Fest or Gospel Fest as a show. I just pointed out that there would be no Show there other then the Joy Fest and Gospel Fest. I only listed 5 shows because I do not know about the other Show.

The website just got updated and it now shows what the 2004 shows are and where they will be. The new magic show will be in the Grand Music Hall and the looney tunes show will be in the Theatre Royale. In the Pictorium is a new show, Top Speed, with Tim Allen. Go to the site for all the shows.

They tend to use the stage area in front of the Hometown Square RR Station for the Gospel and Joyfest preformances. If thats changed, I dont know about it.

NASCAR 3D in IMAX is great. Previewed it a few days ago. Regal Lincolnshire (closest to Milwaukee), Cinemark Woodridge, Marcus Addison, and Navy Pier will be opening this film tomorrow.

Top Speed is a decent film, but yes, NASCAR is better.

http://www.bigmoviezone.com/filmsearch/ ... l?uniq=275

"Using a combination of innovative LF cinematography, special effects, and computer-animated imagery, TOP SPEED is a dynamic montage of awe-inspiring individual performances and new technologies that graphically illustrate the science of speed.

Principles such as gravity, resistance, acceleration, and velocity come alive through stories and images of people pursuing ever-greater degrees of speed -- people like Olympic sprinter Marion Jones, downhill mountain bike racer Marla Streb and GT race car driver Lucas Luhr.

TOP SPEED is a sequel to MacGillivray Freeman Films' 1984 film SPEED."

No, I don’t think he is joking. I saw a Picture somewhere on the Internet that had dumpsters next to Space Shuttle America. I did not really know what it was for, but I know now. Also, I clearly remember that the sign for Space Shuttle America was not there in the Picture.

oh man, they took down the actual shuttle? damn, I always liked walking past it from my parking spot. although, if it doesn't fit the theme of the new movie, I guess its best it went.

does anyone know if doing work inside the building or replacing the theming around there?
