Thank you
When you get to the top, and you hear that click, you better hang on, because your coming down quick!
I am so excited for Goliath! It's looks like some of the elements to this coaster have never been done in a woodie either. My only question is what type of track it is going to have. They are calling Medusa, a steel coaster, but Goliath, a wooden coaster, so does that mean this will have topper track and not steel track. Can anyone confirm?

Feel free to post/comment and talk about Goliath on that page
We are the only park to be getting a BIG coaster next year. MM is getting a kids coaster but that is it!
Medusa is getting an Iron Horse treatment like NTG and IR which means it will have I-Box steel track from RMC. Goliath will have topper track like Outlaw Run.

Did they say when they expect Orbit to reopen? I'd love to at least get one ride on it this year.
Way back when it was asked about Demon at LaRonde. That ride will be asymmetric and that rules out Cajun. No confirmation but I'd guess Zamperla suspended windshear. I don't see SF buying anything from Moser, Mondial or KMG, the other makers of asymmetrical top spin type rides.

The good news is that they haven't taken it down yet... So, there is hope for this year for it to still be open.
^I think you mean Chaos, and not Cajun.

Hmmm. Just a thought. Has anyone thought that since Ragin' Cajun is leaving at the end of this season, that they might move Orbit back into the Mardi Gras area? I know it's kinda pointless but just putting it out there.

It may be feasible to put it back in Mardi Gras, revert the name back to Orleans Orbit, and put a SkyScreamer in Hometown Square where it used to be. I could see it happening.

Would be cheaper to just put a Sky Screamer where Cajun was and not play musical rides, costs a lot of money to move a ride, even within a park unless it's an unmodified portable model, and even then it's not exactly cheap or easy.

Oh I just remembered this. Thursday off-camera I asked Brandon Bruce (since there's room for a possible flat ride in the old Theatre Royale) if we'd ever see a dark ride. He said that the current Dark Knight queue may be converted back into a theater like it was before. He then went on to say that they'd remove the pre-show and redo the queue line some TDK someplace else.

^ It'd be nice if they used all the existing theaters before building a new one, but anything is better than a queue line I guess. At the least it would provide another place to sit down and cool off, which the park definitely needs more of.
^^ I've been thinking about them turning TDK's queue back into Theater Royale for a while now. Nice to know that it's not just an enthusiast pipe dream
The only problem is that the area is really locked on places to put a queue now. They could move TDK to RCs area once it leaves, but that wouldn't be too smart.
What I would like to see in 2015 is a retheming of Dark Knight. I have a feeling that giving it a Green Lantern theme will allow for more. Either that or turn on all the effects.

Or set fire to the thing.
