New Ride(s) for 2014
It would be my guess that if it is like Iron Rattler it would go the seatbelt route rather than the OTSH but that it pure speculation.
-Remember there's nothing but air beneath the chair.
I also hope that it has retractable's! Because, that helps a lot with hitting interval. And it does also help the guests that seem to be having hard time. 
Iron Rattler has retractable seat belts. They could also go with the RMC trains, which have no seatbelts.
I'm still hoping for an RMC but I'll be just as happy with an Intamin Plug N' Play too.

Who still makes world class hybrids? S&s did for a short while, do they still? Hellcat is an awesome ride. Intamin? GG? GCI? RMC obviously. Does anyone else build world class hybrids that we havent mentioned?
I do not think this coaster will be anything but one of the major 3 brands. RMC, GCI, or GG. Just remember El Toro was built with the help of RMC. Intamin didn't do it alone. I don't count Intamin as one of the premier wooden coaster manufactures. Some people might but I don't. I just feel Six Flags will play it safe and not go to any other manufacture other than one of those three. I would count S&S out at this point. I could be wrong but common sense at this point is king until more facts come out.

Unless its a new company (I am one of the few of us that would be in favor of that) I hope its an rmc or gci. GG builds some epic rides but hades is the roughest roller coaster I have ever been on. For those who dont know I am an arrow fanboy and miss shockwave a lot. Shockwave was a very tame and glass smothe ride compared to hades.
I don't really feel like it was Hades fault pre-revamp that it ended up so rough. The first two seasons were fantastic. I think it has more to do with the fact that Mt. Olympus does not take care of the rides in the slightest. Just a personal opinion.
About 5 times now, someone has read someone's post, and then immediately repeated what they just said. The latest example is the retractable seatbelts. The person actually quoted the post, then mentioned retractability in the same exact post...
Let's try to be move the discussion in specific directions, not repeat the last 10 posts over and over again.
I think we should try to stop posting the same thing someone else just said.

RMCC built El Toro, though everything was fabricated in Europe by Ing.-Holzbau Cordes, RMCC really didn't do anything but put it together. They also erect steel coasters, one I believe being Deja Vu from SFGAm to Silverwood. They do a lot of that kind of stuff, that was all they did until they started with the Iron Horse and topper track. A bunch of stuff is made by Larson for RMCC too.

I never rode hades until two years ago. I never thought about that. From a maintenance standpoint... does anybody know if pre formed tracks are easier to maintain or if they hold up better? I know hybrids are easier to maintain..... six flags does a great job with eagle and that has to be a nightmare.

^^The problems with Hades are just as much about Mt. Olympus not maintaining its coasters as they are TGG's problems. I did not find Hades as bad as everyone was saying when I first rode it in 2011, but it did still hurt my back. The Voyage at Holiday World got very rough from what I read, evidence that yes, their aggressive designs do get rough, but after major retracking and reprofiling of a section, it felt pretty darn good to me when I first rode it last year, proof that maintenance makes a huge difference.

I will 110% agree with you that TGG has some very aggressive wooden coaster designs. However I can tell you that Hades pre revision was no where near as intense as Voyage is. I know the problem with Voyage has been the trains wearing and tearing the track apart. That is why they went after the timberliner trains for it. Hades on the other hand if maintained properly wouldn't have needed the revision. There are tons of wooden coasters that are maintained the right way and are in fantastic working order.
On a side note, we have only ten days left until the announcement!
^^I agree Voyage was more intense; I had ridden both before the Hades revision. Yes, the PTC trains were tearing up the track, on both coasters, really. So, HW actually taking care of their coaster, even though it was more aggressive, made the ride good again. I think we are in agreement if I read you right. My main point is I don't rule TGG out based on Hades, as it is a poor example, though I think SF is going a different route with manufacturer,
I do agree with you that GG makes some fantastic coasters. I really honestly wouldn't mind one here at all. I also agree we probably will end up with something from RMC or GCI. I prefer RMC if that is the case. I just want something with high capacity. Now if we could just get more efficient ride ops.
