I have always just followed the Adult must be accompanied by a child sign and have never ridden. I am craving riding it. Will they let you on without a kid?

It honestly depends on the ride op that day. Ive seen so many people without kids on there one day. If they say anything i mean you could always use the excuse that your kids are further up front or in the back or what not.
When you get to the top, and you hear that click, you better hang on, because your coming down quick!

Friends and I used to take over half the train or so when it didnt have a line; unless something has changed I would just go for it.

I've ridden it in child state, and from what I remember it's a pretty decent little ride.

The way I would think is that if employees think someone is going to act all goofy, they probably won't let you ride. I would say for anyone trying to go on it, just act normal. Some people that go on the Little Dipper can just be annoying, and thus I can see why some employees say no to older (meaning not kids) people. They just don't want to deal with those type of people. And a rotten apple spoils the bunch.

I am on it often with my little one. I see single older riders on it all the time. Just get in line and jump on. I have never seen them remove anyone before. If you want I will rent out my kid for a ride for $10 a ride

I have ridden this ride plenty of times and have never been asked to get off. I just wait in line like everyone else and get on. As long as your not causing a problem the operator should not care at all.

Ridden it many times as an adult with no kid.. Worth it for the awesome Jetson jingle when the ride is launched.

The answer is yes you can ride it without having a child with you.

No one cares. I rode it once for the credit. I still feel shame for every kiddie coaster I've ridden as an adult or at adultish age.

^Yeah that's why i like parks like HP or SFSTL (even though i haven't been to the latter) because they don't have a kids coaster. They have several family coasters but i'm less ashamed to ride those
