I would be happy with a Windseeker or a really cool flat ride in the Wolf spot. And I really think removing RC was imminent since we got TDK coaster in 2008. Why would a park want 2 wild mouse coasters? I just hate we always have to have a dead/unused/empty spot each year. Take something down when you are ready to replace it! As for AE, I think all it needs is a paint job. It is fine. Texas Giant accident will haunt the chain for a while to come.
I know this is crazy and they don't have enough space, but it'd be wicked if they relocated a mirror version of our batman from another park and put it right next to the original one, making them dueling batmans with a single queue. But when you get to the top of the last staircase, you can choose which one you want to ride

A nice new flat ride package would be nice with a Sky Screamer being the major flat of the bunch. Let's face it...we're 3 seasons away from the "originals" turning 40 and while the park does a great job keeping them refurbished, at some point the cost to rehab becomes more than just buying something new.

I really wonder sometimes what some people are on. Wow.

Go ask Kennywood how old their coasters are.....and several of their rides for that matter. Just to name one park.

Look, I'm not doubting the fact that the park can keep AE Operational for another 20 years - I suppose I should have been more clear when I said that earlier. I meant that the park can give Eagle new marketable life for the next 20 years. It's something they can stick on a commercial again, something that will reaffirm the ride as an (the?) icon of the park. In it's current state AE is just there to entice people on the freeway to come into the park - like any old wooden ride, it needs some refurbishment to become iconic again.

Anyways.... I've read through this whole forum and based on what I've read only a few things in my opinion, that would happen. First things first, ragin Cajun is gone. Secondly iron horses on the eagle will not happen at least till 2016 due to recent accidents as well as the fact that it runs fine right now. Third is the skyscreamer. I think they will either remove sw amphitheater or the one behind v2 because they are never used. If it went behind v2 lots of trees and such would need to be cleared. In sw it would be very easy but would also look horrible in that section seeing as its more of a brownish black theme and the screamers are colorful as well as the fact that the drop is right there

I stand corrected on the iron horse idea for the eagle....
Of course, this could also be the park employees just screwing with us. But, a few too many hints are starting to be dropped for me to think this is a coincidence.
I guess they never said that it will be the blue side running backwards this year. Looks like the red side will be running backwards while the blue side gets a makeover.

^If so, that is quite clever for the park to do. If that is what happens, they kept us guessing because of an assumption of blue being the one to go backwards.

As unlikely as it is, hopefully tomorrow's teaser will maybe reveal a clue about the possibility of this happening or something else happening.
Playing the other side of the coin....8/26 is the last day for Daily operation which could also mean it's the last time Blue will be open before FF. And considering the sign states 'American Eagle Team Members Only'....having worked at the park in the past, I'd like to think that if any 'major' event was taking place, they'd open it up to the entire ride department and/or park staff in general...not just the ride crew.
I'm thinking we only have 2 more teasers left. One tomorrow, the final teaser next Thursday, and then the reveal on August 29th. Hopefully tomorrow's teaser will give us more hints that we can actually understand.

Having also worked in the park in the past, I've never heard of an event for one single crew, or even just one section. This is weird.
^Well with Banshee KI released a whole page on a Wingrider named the Bat which had a picture of Gatekeeper. This could just be something fake like that
Last year the third teaser revealed the location of Ignite (took place on the bridge in the front of Hometown Square) so maybe we'll get something like that again.
