I Re-Watched FTJ Part 2 And On The Blackboard I Saw..................................................................................................................................................................................................................... a SKYSCREAMER!!!!!!!!! THE MYSTERY IS SOLVED ITS A SKYSCREAMER!
Yeah Its A Skyscreamer The Wait Is Over Its A Stupid Swing Ride But Atleast Its Not Another Cheap Parade Im Happy But I Would Have Liked Bizzaro Or BAT-V2 But Hey Theres Always 2015
I really like how this entire forum topic kind of started with Sky Screamer and will end on it lol. I just hope they can make it very tall and give it a name like "Great American Sky Screamer" with blue, white, red colors. Put some nice LED lights on it. I am personally afraid of that type of ride LOL
Six Flags Ameirca as the number 1 park at SFI.... this is JOKE!

Agreed. And, honestly, this is kind of mean on the park's part, but also effective promotion in the age of social media as it generates buzz/clicks/retweets/etc. and works the algorithms for Facebook in their favor.
Waiting for more clarity until I will do anything more than just throw out random guesses.

They are trying to mess with us even in this video. I said about the trophy clue, but look what's right next to that clue - something about Eagle, so people might think it's something to do with eagle. People got the David clue, and expect the ride to be named Goliath. People than assume Goliath coaster. A picture in the background of a cowboy hat in the first video, and people assumed it's Southwest Territory rather than the ride just being large like Texas because Texas is known for big / tall things. For the first video, maybe you can guess it's a dinosaur attraction based on the footstep, or people thought it's a rocky mountain coaster because they see the dirt as a mountain rather than just dirt. These people read this forum, and know what everyone is saying. They are trying to confuse us.
They really know the industry very well. The Journey is another one where they might be messing with us. What does Journey mean? Does it have anything to do with Journey to the Center of the Earth which has dinosaurs in it? What's interesting to me on a somewhat related note, but doesn't have to do with Great America is that are going to have another Journey movie - from the Earth to the Moon, but there is no release date yet.
They are messing with everyone. The blueprints are supposedly really old in this video. So, the thing they kind of tried to trick us to really look at, is a fake thing.

"I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"
Well Six Flags Cant Change The "GREAT AMERICA" Name But The GREAT! American Theme Died In 1988! it would most likely be a stupid name like X-Flight But Perhaps A Bizzaro Swing Ride And Dont Forget The V2 And BATMAN! The ride merger JUST A THOUGHT BUT Any Ride Will Do As Long As Its Not A Sucky Show Like Ignight
ilrider wrote:^Why would Drop go away? It is a popular, thrilling ride with few problems. Why get rid of it just to build another drop ride later?
Eh, it's not as popular as it once was. Most days I go, the line's pretty short. It goes up, it comes down. Ranging into Devil's Advocate territory, one can also point to the cable issues on other sorts of rides of this type and the fact that other parks are going taller, bigger, etc. I can see Drop as a candidate, particularly if you include River Rocker as another ride that could be done away with for more space.
SFGAm Viper wrote:Skyscreamer would look ridiculous in SWT.
Without Drop, it would look a lot less ridiculous. So you replace one tower with another -- the logistics are basically already there and you're used to seeing a tower there to begin with.
I'm not saying it will happen. We're all just theorizing at this stage, anyhow. I'm saying it might make sense.
So nobody else thinks it means anything that they specifically say the word "coaster"? Why would they raise the expectations of the general public that the park was getting a coaster if they actually weren't?

Probably to create a bunch of confusion, and they are doing really well so far. We have so many ideas that we don't know which one to look into. I am just going to try to just let it go for another week and wait for another corny video that will try to make it seem like this David kid has it all figured out...until Brandon Bruce comes in and tells him to get out again. This all seems oddly familiar... Lol.
When you get to the top, and you hear that click, you better hang on, because your coming down quick!
Well he did walk in the maintainance dept and you saw all those workers clocking out plus they showed the eagle and ragin cajun cars so theyre probly doing something with those two. At least we know its a ride not a show and count all those workers clocking out means it will be a high capacity one so im guessing its a high capacity coaster not a skycreamer cross fingers
^^You have a point....these videos are similar to the ones posted last year before they introduced igNight....and that totally came out of left field....I'm also not sure how someone above mentioned that the drawings on the chalkboard look like anything....at least I can't tell what it is (even if it does/doesn't have anything to do with the clues).
I'm guessing that anyone who attends the Gurnee Zoning Meeting on 8/22 will have a pretty good idea of what it is as part of requesting the variance is giving a generic synopsis/overview of what's being built. While GAm has never had a variance rejected (albeit the usual noise complaints from neighbors who decided to move in well-knowing of the situation), one would think there's still backup plans in the event something would happen.
Agree the village and lake county politics does have the power to ban or approved anything great america builds. The limit is 300 ft from what i heard and someone stated in the forum that the president did mention that the new attraction will cause excitement so it must be big. IT could be a giga coaster who knows 300 ft or more they could just dig 50 feet underground to add more height to it but doubt theyll build one. We dont really need a Skycreamer since we already got a tower ride Giant Drop. I still think its a coaster or some type of ride not a show well have to wait and see.

Yeah, because clearly those are very similar rides, which is why no parks have both. Oh wait, I'm being told they're actually quite different, and many SF parks have a drop tower ride and a Sky Screamer (SFSTL, SFOT, SFFT, and SFOG).

Lake County has no say into what GA wants to install. Great America never has had to go before Lake County for any new addition, only Gurnee. As was stated prior, SF have never been denied anything they requested to build, or hoped to build (Chang), so it is more a sounding board for concerns. I still do not know if the 330 +/- has to do with a Gurnee variation or FAA because of Waukegan Airport. Other point is except for STT GA have only come within about 75-100 feet of the limit with Giant Drop, so the 330 limit is nothing they have ever requested during the SF years.
There is a special place in hell for Sky Screamers... Also... I saw orange Flags marked asking my apartment building yesterday... Oh wait, they say AT&T Fiber Optics Buried Below, Call before digging.... Goes to show Little Flags don't always mean Something is being built...

The zoning meeting is Wed., the 21st. Just saw the sign tonight.
As in past, generally a few days before, they will post the agenda, including all parties speaking at the meeting aka Six Flags, and then the day after, post highlights of the meeting... For those who can't attend...
