The waterfall at the edge of the cave has been gone for awhile I think I saw It running once last year or year before that and with the water jets, they have been not working at all this year last year they were running just fine!
The only waterfall I ever remember on that ride is the section where the water is running down the two walls (supposed to be some kind of gorge?). SIDE NOTE: Does anyone know what used to be in the cave? Now they have statues from the old ball play area in there...
I have not experienced the waterfall at the beginning of the cave in at least 5 years, maybe even up to around 10ish. Even the waterfall on the side at the end of the river is hardly ever on.
^I liked that waterfall because you were guaranteed to get wet on Roaring Rapids no matter what. The 3 reasons I can think of as to why they shut it off is because maybe like Demon, the cave roof was getting damaged, they were getting to much water in the rafts (Though, Cedar Point gets a ton of water in the rafts, and the rafts don't sink), or they just wanted to save money by not running more water.

In Ragin Cajun's spot if they take that out... I think the thing is that Six Flags is probably going to want to take out a ride and put in a Sky Screamer instead of just adding a ride. That would be wonderful if they put the Skyscreamer in an empty spot. I'm worried for Orbit, and Condor. They took out 2 Orbits already at Six Flags parks - One at Georgia and one at Fiesta Texas more recently. Now, our Orbit is broke, and at the beginning of the year, it was taking awhile to put it back together which means something could have been wrong with it, and they had to fix it. Though if Ragin Cajun goes, that's great. That ride is dumb anyway.

Ever since there was mention of the Ragin Cajun video shoot, I've been thinking of the possibility of it being removed for a Sky Screamer. The colorfulness of a Sky Screamer would look great in Mardi Gras, and I really think Cajun needs to go.
I will celebrate the day Ragin' Cajun leaves. The ride never worked properly from day one, and with Dark Knight, now we have a better wild mouse that doesn't have any of Cajun's problems.

Maybe some of picnic groves spot could be used for a ride. Although that might affect the train tracks
oh god, here we go.
1st, do we really need another woodie? 2nd, Wooden coasters don't get "moved". They get rebuilt with mostly new parts......the only thing from Dipper that was kept was signs and the train. And last but not least, how does Medusa fit in IW's footprint!? Honestly....

Idk I haven't seen medusa in person but if we did get medusa and if it was going to be in iw old spot, they would probably have to remove spacelys sprocket rockets or something else too If its that big, but i personally would rather get a suspended. Coasters like iron dragon

Iron Dragon?! You mean one of the most boring coasters at CP right next to Gemini?
oh, wait, I have no reason to worry since they don't even freaking make them anymore. Are you even aware of Arrow/Vekoma?
"I've been told that some part of every wish will be heard but lately I lost sight of the truth in those words."
Vekoma still makes suspended coasters though with floorless cars.
Arrow is out of business, and S&S Sansei is of course no longer their own company, I doubt they'd ever make another. Guessing all they will be making is tower rides and everything in the Sansei Yusoki Co catalog, along with spare parts of course.

I would love to see another stand up and boomerang coaster coaster at the park, i used to love riding those rides, but only if they ran much smoother and faster then the older coasters. Now that i think of it we need a record breaking coaster like most of the other parks six flags has.

I don't see the need to be rude. Instead of insulting you ill go through your post.
Stand up coasters are great fun and all, but we already had one with Iron Wolf. It was removed in 2011 due to unpopularity and ride experience. It was a bit rough, so if another stand up came to SFGAm it wouldn't do well. People would say, "Oh, it's like iron wolf and I didn't like iron wolf so why would I like this one."
A boomerang coaster could be a possibility, but it's very boring and stinks with capacity. Plus we have a ride similar in V2 and Deja Vu which was removed in 2007. So however it could happen, very slim chances and lets hope it doesn't.
All theme park and coaster enthusiast wants the best for their parks. Whether its a great overall ride or the biggest, baddest new thrill. But you should be happy with what we have and accept whatever the park gets. We could be like Six Flags America and get a new ride every 5 years or a hand-me-down coaster.
Unbelievable, I don't know what to say about... I can't wait to go to the park for next year!
Care to elaborate a bit? Were any hints droppw d at the QA yesterday?
No hints were dropped yesterday. But the park president did say that he thinks we will be very excited for the 2014 addition and that they are currently finalizing everything with it. He said an announcement would be made around labor day. He also said that another ride or roller coasrr would be removed for us to get new rides and roller coasters since they're land locked. Also strangely, he said that we may see a return of Buzzy's Bees in the near future.
^The guy would say he's excited to get a Taco stand. He's a park president for goodness sakes. About the guy saying that a ride would have to be removed in order to put a new one in points to the fact that some ride is going to be removed for next year. He wouldn't say something like that for no reason. Just for him saying that, I don't see anything going in Iron Wolf's spot next year.

I watched the Q&A on youtube and didn't hear him say anything about a ride removal.... I know Dejavu2001 was there...Can you confirm?

That doesn't necessarily mean a ride is going to be removed for next year.
Well, it really is no surprise that things will have to be removed and/or altered if the park wants to put in an attraction of decent size.
Since the IW location is partitioned by the service road, with the major portion of the area being on the southern part of the road, I could totally see the park using the smaller portion as an extension to the kids area. Yes, the station is still standing but so was SSA and SWF until the park actually decided to develop those areas.
